He's your brother
Calum
I sat on my bed, looking at my laptop when there was a knock on my door. I looked up to see Calum stood there, looking pissed off.
"Mum told me about what happened with Sarah today." He spoke. I sighed.
"What can I say? Your girlfriend is a bitch, big brother." I shrugged.
"Hey, can you not? By the sounds of it, you started it." He hissed.
"Oh, and who told you this?" I scoffed. He looked down.
"Sarah." He mumbled.
"Exactly. She's hardly going to say "oh, yeah, I threw your sister against a locker today because I'm a complete psycho bitch"." I sarcastically smiled at him.
"And just for the record, Mali doesn't like her either." I fake-smiled.
"Well I'm not talking about Mali, I'm talking about you. Seriously, I love you, but you need to stop. I get that you don't like her, but I really do, so please, for me." He begged, making me sigh.
"For you. But only for you." I muttered. He smiled before his phone buzzed. He looked down at it and his smile disappeared.
"Never mind." He mumbled.
"What?" I asked.
"I've just been dumped." He mumbled as he looked up. I sighed as I went up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, his arms wrapping around my torso and his chin resting on my head.
"I'm sorry." I muttered.
"So am I." he sighed.
"Why did she end it?" I asked, looking up at him.
"She didn't say. All the texts says is that we're done." He muttered.
"I'm sorry." I spoke again.
"It's okay, little sis. It's okay." He sighed.
Luke
I sniffed as I sat on my bed, looking down at my phone. Suddenly, Luke was at my door.
"Is it true?" he asked. I looked up.
"What?" I asked.
"You know what I'm talking about." He spoke as he walked into my room and sat next to me.
"No, I don't." I insisted.
"Y/N, don't lie to me, I know that that scumbag was caught making out with some other girl." He spoke, trying to catch my gaze. I sighed.
"It doesn't matter." I shrugged.
"Don't say that. I get it if you're upset." He spoke, putting his arm around my shoulder.
"As much as I appreciate your concern, I'm not upset, I'm just...pissed off." I muttered.
"Well, you deserve better." He sighed, pulling me into his side as I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Thanks, Luke." I smiled as he stood up.
"No problem." He returned.
"Ben, Jack, come on." He yelled as he went to my door.
"Wait, where are you three going without me?" I asked.
"We're going to beat the shit out of your boyfriend." He smirked.
"No, Luke, you can't!" I exclaimed as I rushed to him.
"Why not?" he scoffed.
"If you get caught, you'll be arrested, I'm not letting you get locked up for me-."
"Hey, hey, Y/N." he spoke, taking my face in his hands.
"You're my baby sister, I'm not letting some fucker disrespect you without a punishment." He said gently. I sighed.
"I've got to go, I love you." He smiled before kissing my head.
"Hmm, and you." I sighed as he left the room.
Michael
I walked into Michael's room.
"Hey, have you ever heard of knocking?" he asked as I shut the door and slumped down on his bed.
"Oh, my fucking god." I mumbled, rubbing my hands over my face.
"Y/N, what's wrong?" he asked.
"You know mum's friend, Seth?" I asked, sitting with my back against the wall.
"Yeah?" Michael nodded, lying back and turning on his phone.
"They're seeing each other right now." I admitted. Michael looked up at me immediately.
"What?" he scoffed.
"Mum's cheating, Michael." I muttered.
"No. She wouldn't. She wouldn't betray dad like that." He shook his head as he sat up.
"Michael, I'm sorry." I mumbled as he stood up.
"No. You're wrong, Y/N. She wouldn't do that, her and dad love each other." He spat, pacing his carpet.
"Michael-."
"She loves dad, she would never see another guy behind his back." He insisted.
"Michael!" I shouted as tears started to run down my face. He stopped abruptly and looked at me. His face softened.
"Y/N-."
"Mum is cheating on dad, and there's nothing we can do about it because dad will find out, and he'll file for divorce, and the whole family will be fucked up, and it'll all be her fault!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face. He sighed as he hugged me.
"It's going to be okay. Even if that happens, we stick together, because we always have each other, okay?" he asked. I nodded as I sniffed.
"Let's go get ice cream." He smiled.
"Sounds like a plan." I chuckled.
Ashton
"Why do you insist on walking me to every lesson?" I groaned as Ashton and I walked along the school corridor.
"Because you're my baby sister and I want to look after you, I'm not taking any chances." He shrugged.
"What about Lauren and Harry?" I asked.
"They're not at this school yet, dumbass." He chuckled, making me roll my eyes.
"I just-can you at least let me walk to one lesson by myself?" I begged.
"Y/N, that's not going to happen-."
"Ashton." I cut him off.
"Fine, fine." He sighed, holding his hands up as he walked away. I sighed as I headed to my locker. Suddenly, I was slammed against the doors as Connor pressed his body against mine.
"Hey, Y/N. Where's big brother Ashton, huh?" he smirked.
"Fuck off." I spat.
"Now that's no way to talk to your superior, is it?" he chuckled.
"I hope that you don't mean yourself." Ashton spoke as he pulled Connor off of me and to the floor.
"If you even look at my sister again, I will fucking end you." He spat before turning to me.
"I leave you alone for less than a minute and there you are, trapped against the locker doors, about to get fucking slapped." He hissed.
"I can handle myself." I spat.
"Well clearly you can't." he snapped back. I scoffed at him, making him sigh.
"Look, I'm sorry. I just want to take care of you." He spoke.
"I know." I sighed as I hugged him.
Calum
I lay on my bed, clutching my pillow as I watched yet another chick flick. I sighed, looking at my phone but not seeing any messages.
"Y/N." I looked up and my eyebrows furrowed as Calum and Mali stood at my doorway.
"What?" I sighed.
"That's like, your twentieth chick flick since Peter broke up with you." Mali spoke.
"Actually, it's only my...nineteenth." I mumbled. Calum and Mali looked at each other before walking into my room.
"That's it, we're staging an intervention." Calum spoke as he closed my laptop.
"No, I just want to watch movies." I groaned as they pulled me off of my bed.
"Tough. You've been single for a week, and you've been moping around the whole time." Mali spoke.
"I don't want to do anything." I sighed.
"Not even have a night of drinking?" Calum smirked.
"I'm only seventeen, Cal." I groaned.
"And that's why you have a fake ID." He nodded. My eyes widened.
"You know about that?" I asked quietly.
"Of course we do, we're your older siblings, but don't worry, mum and dad don't know." Mali chuckled. I sighed before nodding.
"Okay. Let's go."
We sat at the bar, downing shots. I downed another one and my face screwed up at the bitter taste.
"You're such a lightweight, Jesus." Calum chuckled.
"Shut up." I laughed as Mali went to order more drinks. Calum looked at me.
"You know, I haven't said it yet, but I'm sorry about Peter ending it with you." Calum spoke. I looked at him.
"I mean, I know that you really liked him, but for what it's worth, he's an asshole." He sighed.
"You're only saying that because he broke your little sister's heart and you have to." I chuckled slightly.
"No, I'm saying it because it's true. You deserve so much better." He spoke. I smiled at him.
"Thanks, Cal." I said before leaning forward and hugging him.
"Anything for you." He nodded, hugging me back.
Luke
I crept around the house, looking around cautiously for my brothers. I sighed, not being able to see them.
"How the fuck are three grown-ass men so good at hide and seek?" I mumbled to myself as I walked into the corridor.
"Boo." I screamed as I immediately started to run down the corridor and away from Jack.
"Ben, she's on the move!" he yelled. I screamed again as Ben popped out at the end of the corridor. I rushed into the living room.
"Luke, you're up!"
"No!" I yelled as Luke rushed to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, lifting me up as I screamed.
"Yes! We got her!" Luke laughed as he threw me over his shoulder.
"Luke, put me down." I groaned as he gave Jack and Ben high fives.
"Uh, uh, little sis, you know what the deal was." He chuckled as he started to walk towards the backdoor.
"Mum is going to kill all three of you if you do this." I spoke, squirming in his grip.
"The deal was that if we won hide and seek, we could dunk you in the pool." Ben shrugged.
"No, come on, I'm your little sister, you're meant to protect me, not make me go swimming in my clothes." I whined.
"No take backs." Jack chuckled. I groaned as I tried again to make Luke drop me but it didn't work.
"Three, two," Luke started to count down.
"Luke, please." I whined.
"ONE!" Jack and Ben yelled before pushing Luke.
"Guys, what?!" he shouted as we fell into the pool. I resurfaced and so did Luke.
"What the fuck, guys?!" he spat as Jack and Ben laughed their asses off.
"Older siblings verses younger siblings." Jack shrugged before they walked back inside.
"Fucks sake." Luke sighed.
"Karma is a bitch." I fake smiled. He shook his head and chuckled before splashing me with the pool water.
"Hey!" I laughed, splashing him back.
Michael
I knocked on Michael's door and waited for a response. The door opened to reveal Martha, Michael's wife, with their son on her hip.
"Y/N, so good to see you." She smiled as she hugged me.
"Really good to see you too." I returned as I stepped inside.
"Let's see the ring then." She squealed, taking my hand.
"Wow. That's a beast." She chuckled.
"I'm glad you like it." I smiled.
"You wanting to talk to Michael?" she asked.
"Please." I nodded. She returned it before walking into the kitchen. A moment later, Michael came out.
"Hello, baby sis." He laughed as he hugged me.
"That should have died when we reached twenty." I chuckled.
"Never." He smiled as we sat down.
"So, what can I do for you?" he asked.
"Well, I have quite a big favour to ask." I spoke.
"Anything for you." He shook his head. I took a deep breath.
"Will you give me away?" I asked. His eyes widened slightly.
"What, you mean, walk you down the aisle?" he gulped.
"Yeah. I mean, dad isn't here anymore, and we've always been so close, so I wanted you to do it." I spoke. He looked at his hands.
"What do you say?" I asked hopefully. He looked at me and smiled.
"Of course. Of course, I'll give you away." He smiled. I returned it before hugging him tightly.
"Thank you. You have no idea how much this means to me." I choked.
"You know I'd do anything for you." He smiled. I returned it before kissing his cheek.
Ashton
I lay in the hospital bed, cradling Alexa in my arms. Calum sat in the chair next to me, gripping my hand as he looked at our daughter. Suddenly, the door opened and Ashton rushed in.
"Oh my god, I came as soon as I heard." He puffed, bending down slightly and resting his hands against his knees as he took deep breaths.
"Deep breaths, Ash, your niece isn't going anywhere." I chuckled. He looked at her and smiled slightly as he stood up.
"It's a girl." He smiled.
"Yeah." Calum nodded, biting his lip. Ashton walked forward, his smile widening as he saw her.
"Can I hold her?" he asked.
"Sure." I nodded as I started to extend my arms. He bent down and met me half way as he took Alexa into his arms.
"Wow. She's beautiful, Y/N. She looks like both of you." He chuckled, looking between us.
"Yeah. Nurse said that she has my eyes and skin, but Y/N's hair." Calum smiled. Ashton returned it before looking down at her and bobbing her gently up and down.
"Hello, baby girl. It's me, uncle Ash." He smiled gently at her, allowing her to grab his finger in her tiny fist.
"She's wonderful. I can't wait to be her uncle." He smiled before putting her into Calum's arms.
"Can I stay for a while? We need to catch up." He chuckled, gently nudging my shoulder.
"Sure." I returned.
"By the way, congratulations. She really is something." He smiled again before leaning down and kissing my cheek.
Calum
I downed another shot and screwed my face up slightly.
"Y/N, I think you should slow down, you're getting married tomorrow." Calum sighed.
"Why do you think I'm getting fucked up?" I smiled, downing another one.
"Y/N, I'm not kidding, mum and Mali are helping you to get ready at six tomorrow morning, you can't be getting drunk." Calum scoffed.
"You of all people know I'm not a lightweight, I'll be fine." I giggled.
"Y/N, no, you're drunk." He spoke as he stood up. I shrugged as I picked up another shot glass.
"Okay, no, I'm calling it, no." he said, taking the shot glass from my hand and standing me up.
"Oh, boo." I giggled.
"Come on, let's get you back to your room, you're getting married tomorrow, Zach isn't going to be happy if you're hungover when you walk down the aisle." He spoke as he walked me out of the bar and along the hotel corridor.
"He'll be fine." I sighed as I stumbled.
"Jesus, you can't even walk." He scoffed.
"I can." I huffed.
"No, you can't, hop on." He sighed, leaning down in front of me. I jumped onto his back and rested my chin against his shoulder as he carried me to my room.
"The things I do for you." He chuckled as he opened my hotel room door and carried me in. I sighed as he put me down onto my bed. I groaned as he sat next to me.
"You okay?" Calum sighed, gently resting his hand against my cheek.
"I'll be fine. Check on Zach for me, please." I mumbled, slowly closing my eyes.
"Will do. Get some sleep, little sis." He nodded, leaning down and kissing my head before standing up and leaving the room.
Luke
I stood at the bag terminal in the airport, waiting for my bag. I saw it and grabbed it before starting to make my way through the airport. I walked through and looked for Luke. I smiled as I saw him and the pram that he was stood next to. He smiled as I rushed to him.
"Luke!" I laughed as I hugged him tightly.
"It's so good to see you." He smiled into my hair.
"And you." I returned before looking into the pram.
"Oh, Luke, she's gorgeous." I gushed at his baby girl as I leant down and picked her up.
"Thank you, Y/N." he smiled.
"What did you call her in the end?" I asked.
"Jessica." He nodded.
"Aww, beautiful name for a beautiful baby." I chuckled. He returned it before taking my bag and leading us out of the airport.
I sat in Luke's living room, gently cradling a sleeping baby Jessica in my arms.
"You're good with her." Luke smiled as he sat next to me.
"Thanks. It'll be a good practice for when Simon and I have a baby." I chuckled, looking down at Jessica. Luke looked at me.
"So, you guys have talked about a baby?" he asked.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"So, what's happened?" he asked.
"It's already happened." I smiled. His eyes widened.
"And?" he asked, I bit my lip.
"I'm pregnant." I admitted. Luke's lips curled into a smile.
"Aww, Y/N, I'm so happy for you." He gushed, hugging me.
"Hopefully, I'll get my own baby Jessica." I chuckled.
"I'm so happy for you. Let Simon know that I've got pregnancy books if he wants them." He spoke.
"Thank you." I smiled. He returned it before hugging me again.
Michael
"Michael, can you please help me pack?" I asked.
"Why me?" he groaned.
"Because mum and dad are out, I'm moving out in two days, and I need help packing." I sighed. He groaned again before standing up and walking along to my room.
"Jesus, it looks like a bomb went off in here." He scoffed as he walked in.
"Your room looked the same when you moved out." I grumbled.
"So, what goes where?" he asked, looking around.
"Anything that looks like rubbish goes in the black bin bag, and so does anything I approve of. Normal things, like clothes and books go in a cardboard box." I nodded.
"Got it." He spoke before grabbing a bin bag.
Michael and I sat on the floor of my bedroom, sorting through stuff.
"Oh my god, Y/N, look at this." He laughed, showing me a photo. I took it and smiled at the photo showing Michael and I as little kids, hugging each other and smiling at the camera.
"How old were we in this?" I asked.
"Well, it says 2000, so I would have been five, and you would have been three." He smiled. I returned it.
"Don't move out." He spoke quietly. I looked at him.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't move out, please." He sighed.
"But you don't even live here anymore." I scoffed.
"Y/N, I'm here most of the week. And if you move out, I don't get to see you as much anymore." He mumbled. I sighed.
"As much as I appreciate your concern, you can still come to mine. Just because I'm moving out doesn't mean we won't see each other anymore." I reassured.
"Yeah, but...you moving out means that you're not little anymore. I'm losing my baby sister." He sighed. I returned it before leaning forward and hugging him.
"I'll always be your little sister." I reassured, making him smile and nod as he hugged me back.
Ashton
I opened the door and smiled as Ashton stood on my doorstep.
"Hello, you." He smiled, hugging me tightly and kissing my cheek.
"It's so good to see you, Ash." I smiled as I shut the door.
"Where's Luke?" I asked.
"There was only one seat left on the last flight out, and Luke felt that we needed some sibling bonding time, so he let me have the seat, but he told me to bring his love, and presents for the kids." He chuckled as he sat down.
"Aww, that was nice." I smiled, making Ashton nod.
"But I miss him so much. It's hard, I'm still not used to having an empty bed." I sighed.
"I still don't like the idea of you two together." Ashton mumbled. I looked at him.
"You're kidding, right?" I scoffed.
"No. A best friend and a younger sister is every guy's worst nightmare." He chuckled.
"Ash, we've been together for fifteen years, we're married and he's given you four nieces and nephews, I think he's proven that he's here to stay." I joked, making him laugh.
"Speaking of which, where are my favourite nieces and nephews?" he asked, looking around and over the back of the sofa.
"At school, Ash. It's midday Tuesday." I chuckled.
"Sorry. The days all sort of mould into one when you're on tour." He shrugged. I looked at him.
"I'm glad you came. It's always nice to have some quality time with my big brother." I smiled.
"I'm glad." He returned before hugging me.
