He asks you out

Calum

I sat on the sofa next to Calum, his arm casually being hung over my shoulder making my stomach flutter. This was so wrong, I couldn't believe I was in love with one of my best friends. Suddenly, my phone buzzed and I jumped to cover it.

"Got something to hide, Y/N?" Calum asked, smirking at me. I forced a smile before checking the text.

Luke: Have you told him yet?

Y/N: No, maybe this isn't a good idea

Luke: Okay, I shouldn't be telling you this but...Calum likes you back.

Y/N: WHAT?! How long as he liked me back?!

Luke: I don't know... a year

Y/N: And you didn't tell me. Thanks, Luke...

Luke: Well I've told you now! So, go get him!

Y/N: I will! Thank you :)

I put my phone down as I smiled to myself.

"Calum, I need to tell you something." I spoke quietly. He looked at me expectantly.

"I really like you. I have for a while, and it's time you knew, because you're so funny and gorgeous, and my best friend, and god, I love you and it's fine if you don't feel the same way-." I was cut off by Calum's lips on mine. I smiled into it and held his face as his hands moved to my waist.

"I really like you too, of course I do, you're so funny, and kind, and beautiful, and everything about you is perfect." Calum spoke against my lips, making me smile.

"Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. I nodded before kissing him again.

Luke

"You cheated again?! What's you excuse this time?!" I yelled at my now ex-boyfriend. He sighed.

"Nothing, you just...you're kind of vanilla now." He spoke sheepishly. I scoffed at his weak excuse.

"Well then, since I'm just vanilla, you can get the rest of your stuff tomorrow and then you're never speaking to me again. For now, get the fuck out." I spat, pushing him out of the house and slamming the door. The tears started to fall as I texted the boys.

Y/N: Guys, come over, please

Mikey: What's he done now?

Ash: Michael, you could be a little more sensitive. But what happened?

Y/N:...he cheated again

Cal: What was his excuse?

Y/N: Apparently, I'm just vanilla

Luke: I'm going to kill him, I swear

Y/N: Luke, please...

Luke: No, Y/N, I've had enough. That being said, we'll be there soon

Y/N: Thanks

The doorbell rang and I quickly dried my tears before opening it. The boys stormed in.

"Are you okay, Y/N? That asshole didn't deserve you." Luke spoke, engulfing me in a hug.

"I will be." I sniffed as the others hugged me too.

"I'm going to grab some ice cream." I nodded before heading into the kitchen and opening the freezer. My eyebrows furrowed as I heard talking. I put my ear against the door to try to hear.

"She's single now, why can't I make my move?" my eyes widened as it was Luke.

"Because she's just been cheated on, again, by her boyfriend of two years. She's hurting right now." Ashton reasoned.

"I've known her for fifteen years, Ash. I love her, I really do, and I'm pretty sure she at least likes me too. It can work." He spoke.

"You love me?" I asked quietly, coming out of the kitchen. They whipped around to see me, Luke's face quickly losing its colour.

"Erm, we're going to give you guys some time alone." Calum nodded as they went into the kitchen. As soon as they left, Luke rushed to me and pressed his lips to mine. He broke the kiss and looked at me.

"Yes, I love you, Y/N. I have since the first time I met you. You're so beautiful, funny, kind, everything, you're perfect. Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. I smiled and nodded before kissing him passionately.

Calum

I lay in bed next to Calum, his sheets covering our naked bodies.

"Well, that was fucking amazing." He smirked, kissing my head.

"I know." I giggled as I rolled over so that I was lying on my front as I grabbed my phone. My eyes widened.

"Shit, I'm late, I need to go." I sighed as I put my phone down.

"Oh, no, you don't." Calum chuckled as he rolled over too and put one arm on either side of my back so that he was trapping me.

"Calum." I laughed as he kissed my back.

"What? I don't want you to leave." He admitted, his lips still against my back. My smile faded slightly at his words. I rolled back over so that I could look at him. He looked at me gently.

"It's true. I don't want you to go." He shrugged. I sighed and nodded before sitting up.

"You know I'll be back next week." I spoke as I pulled my underwear on and clasped my bra.

"A week without your touch is too long now. I used to be able to do it, but not anymore." Calum sighed as he sat up. I looked at him.

"I've been thinking." He spoke.

"That's dangerous." I chuckled. He returned it before looking at me.

"I want this to turn into more than just a weekly hook-up. I want to be able to hold your hand in public and go out for meals together, and be able to punch another guy in the jaw when he flirts with you. I don't know. I just want more than sex, I guess." He admitted quietly. My eyes widened slightly.

"You mean, you want me to be your girlfriend?" I asked. He looked at me and nodded. I bit my lip, trying to suppress my smile as I straddled him, his hands finding my thighs.

"Yes. Yes, I'll be your girlfriend." I smiled. He returned it before gently taking my face and kissing me.

"Does that mean you can stay?" he asked, biting his lip. I sighed.

"I guess." I chuckled. He grinned at me before pulling me down and making me squeal as he rolled on top of me.

Luke

I walked into the frat house and looked around. I sighed as it already stunk of cheap alcohol and loud music was already thumping through my ears. I walked into the kitchen and looked at the assortment of drinks. I got a can of coke and poured it into a plastic red cup before pouring some vodka in as well. I took a sip.

"Jesus." I coughed before looking around. I sighed as I walked out, not wanting to dance in the crowd of already drunk people. I walked up the stairs and opened a random door. Luke looked up from his bed and his eyes widened as he saw me.

"Shit, sorry, I didn't realise someone was in here, I'll go." I gulped as I turned towards the door.

"No, it's okay, Y/N, you didn't know, you can stay." He smiled. I returned it before shutting the door and looking down.

"You can sit down." He chuckled. I gave him a small smile before sitting down on his bed.

"So, why aren't you getting drunk and enjoying the party?" he asked, looking at me.

"Well, I'm getting drunk." I chuckled, holding up my red cup.

"But, I only came because Ashton asked me to. I didn't really want to." I shrugged.

"So, why did you come then?" he asked. I looked down.

"Um, because I knew you'd be here." I admitted. He looked at me and smiled before shifting next to me.

"You know, I've been meaning to ask you out for a while now." He admitted. My eyes widened slightly as I looked at him.

"Why?" I scoffed.

"Well, you're beautiful, smart, kind, funny, loyal, as well as so many other things." He shrugged. I smiled slightly at him. He returned it before slowly leaning in and pressing our lips together. I returned it quickly, holding Luke's cheek. He broke the kiss and smiled at me.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Y/N?" he asked quietly.

"Yes." I smiled. He returned it before kissing me again.

Michael

Michael and I drove along the open road, the rain hammering against the windows.

"What time is it?" Michael asked, looking at the dark sky. I looked at my phone.

"1:15. God, I'm tired." I mumbled.

"So am I. I'm not sure what's taken us so long." He sighed. Suddenly, the car started to slow down. I looked at Michael.

"Mikey, what's happening?" I asked.

"We're running out of petrol." He spoke as he rolled us to the side of the road and the car came to a stop.

"And we're out." He sighed, rubbing his hands over his face. I looked at my phone.

"I've got no signal." I mumbled.

"And my phone's dead." Michael groaned. I sighed.

"So, we're stuck here until morning." I nodded.

"Or we could walk." He shrugged. I looked at Michael.

"Are you fucking crazy? It's pouring down, neither of us have coats, and it's at least twelve miles home. It's not a good idea to start walking back at one in the morning." I scoffed, making him sigh.

"Well, I guess we just have to hang in until morning." He mumbled. I sighed and nodded.

"Y/N, can I...can I tell you something?" he gulped.

"I'm your best friend, you can tell me anything." I smiled. He looked at me.

"I, erm, I really fucking like you. I might even love you, I don't know, but I...I want to be more than best friends and I think it's finally time that I told you, and I figured that since we're going to be stuck here for a while, you should know." He admitted. I looked at him with wide eyes.

"Actually, come to think of it, it probably wasn't a good idea to tell you when we're going to be stuck in a car together for hours." He sighed, looking at me timidly. I cupped his cheek and made him look at me properly. I smiled slightly before leaning in and pressing our lips together. He returned it quickly, pulling me onto his lap. He broke the kiss and looked at me.

"I didn't think you'd actually like me back." He admitted.

"Surprise." I giggled. He smiled before kissing me again.

Ashton

I walked onto the field in my cheerleader uniform and immediately winced as the cold wind bit at my skin.

"Hey, Y/N!" I looked to the side and smiled at the members of the football team waving at me.

"Looking good, boys!" I yelled back.

"Don't you know it!" Luke shouted. I chuckled to myself before going to my bag and opening it. My eyebrows furrowed as my jacket wasn't in there.

"What the..." I mumbled, rummaging through my things.

"For fucks sake." I groaned.

"Looking for something?" I turned around and smiled as Ashton stood there.

"Um, yeah, my jacket, I can't seem to find it." I sighed, pointing to my bag.

"Oh." He spoke as he walked towards me.

"May I?" he asked, pointing to my bag.

"Sure." I nodded. He returned it before rummaging through it.

"Huh. Doesn't seem to be in there." He sighed before taking his jacket off and handing it to me.

"Ash, what are you doing?" I chuckled.

"It's cold and you're in a small cheerleaders dress, I've been running around for an hour. You need it more." He smiled. I returned it and took the jacket before putting it on.

"Thank you. But I thought that only footballers' girlfriends were allowed to wear their jackets." I chuckled.

"Well, the thing is that I was hoping you'd become my girlfriend." He admitted. I looked at him.

"Are you asking me out, Ash?" I smiled.

"Yeah. Yeah, I am." He nodded. I smiled again before gently taking his face and pressing our lips together. He returned it immediately, gripping my hips. I broke the kiss and Ashton smiled at me.

"Is that a yes?" he smiled.

"Yes." I laughed. He returned it before kissing me again.
