Calum's POV:
"What the fück is wrong with her?" Michael asks, his head tilted at Kiko.
I look down at her small body, still taken aback by her question as I study her face. Her eyes look strangely vacant, no life at all in her usual sparkling eyes. My own widen, a scary thought popping into my head.
"Is she turning?" I gasp, holding her arm even tighter.
"Oh my god you fücking idiots. Give the dämn girl a break!" Tiara sighs, throwing her hands in the air, "She's just delirious, it comes from being in shock,"
"Well how do we fix it?!" I ask, well, demand.
"So it looks like you guys do need me..." Tiara says, trailing off with a smirk on her face.
"Whatever just help her," Michael grunts, twirling his machete before putting it back in its holder.
"Only if you let me stay with your group afterwards," Tiara smiles devilishly. Her wants are the exact opposite of what Kiko's were.
"Hëll no," Michael scoffs, crossing his arms, "Besides, I thought you hated us,"
"Oh I do, but I also need a group to survive this dämn thing... But I mean, if you won't allow it I can just let your little girlfriend die," Tiara raises her eyebrows, turning around to leave the shed.
"Not so fast," Ashton grumbles, removing a sword from his sheathe and resting it on Tiara's shoulder, "you really are evil,"
"Are we seriously about to have a sword fight?" She chuckles. However, I can tell that she's scared by the way her voice wavers. I clench my jaw, noticing Luke wince out of the corner of my eye.
"C'mon mates, swallow your pride and let her help us. It wouldn't be bad to have another helping hand," I speak up, not entirely sure of my own words.
"But she's rude," Michael mutters.
"Says you," She snaps back, Ashton's sword still at her shoulder.
"She can stay for now but give me your weapons," Ashton decides, taking her sword without her permission.
Suddenly, Tiara swings around and presses a knife to Ashton's throat. A gasp escapes my mouth as I hurriedly place Kiko next to Luke, getting up to face this feisty human.
"Don't you dare," Michael growls, his hand on his Machete. I stare at Tiara, noticing that she doesn't have a doubt written on her face, the total opposite of Kiko when she tried to kill Ashton.
"She wouldn't," Luke pipes up, "she's too scared,"
"That's where you're wrong," She smiles devilishly, "it's kill or be killed, mate,"
Did she seriously just mock our accent?"
Ashton smirks slightly before grabbing her wrist and spinning her around. Looks like her bark is worse than her bite.
"You just got yourself killed," Ashton grunts, holding his hand out for Michael's machete. I hear a small sniffle coming from Tiara, causing me to roll my eyes. She should have been ready for the consequences.
"Don't," a voice speaks up, all of our heads snapping to Kiko.
She slowly stands, pulling her long damp hair from her face and glaring at all of us. Her right hand clutches at her chest, reminding me about her ribs. There's no way that we could fix that... But could Tiara?
"If you didn't kill me, you shouldn't kill her," Kiko grunts, clearly in pain, "you took me in when I didn't want it, and now that she wants it you won't? What kind of people are you?"
"She's obviously more of a threat than you were," Luke sighs heavily, him too looking quite miserable.
"That's where you're wrong," Kiko mutters, "I tried to kill Ashton, even Michael, yet you all still forced me to stay with you. Just because her intentions are astray from mine doesn't mean you can't give her the same outcome,"
Looks like the normal Keeks has returned. Stubborn as always.
"But you're way different, Kiko," I roll my eyes, walking over to support her body. She steps away from me, leaning on the wall instead. Well that hurt.
"I'm no different," She whispers.
"You saved us God dämnit!" Michael yells, startling Kiko, "I wanted you to stay because you saved us! I couldn't let you go out all by yourself, knowing that you would most likely die despite your actions! And I may have hated you, and I might still hate a part of you, but that's only because you remind me of someone who betrayed me..." Michael trails off.
"Then let her live for me," Kiko says strongly.
Ashton looks at Michael, still holding Tiara in a head lock as he looks for an answer. I can tell how frustrated Michael is, but I also know that Ashton is usually the one to make the calls. He is the oldest after all.
"Tie her up over there," Ashton grunts, pushing the girl into Michael.
He catches her roughly, shoving her into the corner and tying her hands behind her back, as well as her feet together.
"Looks like she's the only human left in this group," Tiara smirks, my eyes narrowing.
"Your far from a human yourself," I whisper gruffly, watching Kiko slide down the wall.
"How is she supposed to help us if she's tied up," Kiko whispers, her eyebrows knitting together out of pain.
"Since she could stand, I'm pretty positive her ribs are only bruised... Other than that she just needs to be warmed up a bit," Tiara explains, obviously feeling pity for Kiko.
"And Luke?" Kiko asks, her head turning slightly to face Tiara.
"His wound needs to be cleaned out with fresh water and a new bandage needs to be put on it. I have some Advil in my bag which will help a bit with pain and infection," She replies, all of us surprised by her friendly nature.
I mean, Advil is hella hard to come by these days.
"Thank you," Kiko sighs quietly, resting her head against the wall. I'm pissed at myself for letting her fall into that river...
