At Molly's

Dawsons pov
Its my shift at Mollys tonight. Matt was going to come out but no one could watch Jace. He was okay with that. He said they were going to have a guys night at the house. He even invited Severide over. I walk into the bar and turn on the lights. I go around to all the tables and pull the chairs down and get the place ready to open. Otis shows up about 10 minutes later for his shift with me. We hang around chatting until customers start to arrive. The bar doesn't take long to fill up fast. I am feeling drained of energy. About half way through my shift its starts to get rowdy. I hear people starting up at fight. "Hey knock it you too" I yell at them as I walk over. "Oh yeah what a little pretty thing like you gonna do" they say to me. "Call the cops I got an in with them." I say "oh the cops" they say as they go back to fighting "alright that's it Otis call the cops you to come here" I say to them as I pick both of them up by the edge of their shirts and drag them outside to wait for the cops. About 10 minutes later the cops show up.

Burgess's pov
We arrive at molly to find Dawson holding back to guys from fighting. Roman and I hop out if the squad car. "What do we got?" I ask her. "Bar fight told them to stop they wouldn't listen so I called you guys. I also managed to drag them out here." She says. I walk over and grab the guy that started the fight. "let's go come on in the car you go." I say. He swings at me and hits me in the eye. "Burgess you okay" Roman asks as Dawson comes over to take a look. "Yeah I'm fine just a black eye. Ruzek just won't be too happy about it." I say "just a black eye put some ice on it and you'll be fine" Dawson says. We finish loading them up then head home.

Dawson pov
I head back inside after Burgess and Roman left. I'm so tired. Its only 10 am but I feel like its 3am. I can't wait to get back home and crawl in bed with Mat. I'm serving a customer when my phone goes off. It's a text from Mat. "Hey babe hope your night is going well. Miss you. Love you always and forever" he says. "Miss you and love you too always and forever" I text back. I get back to work getting drinks for people. By the end of the night I'm wiped .
