My hearts skips a beat, as I look down to find Aaron's hand grasping mine, his eyes slowly opening as a groan escapes his mouth. Oh my god he's alive. I've never cried this much in my life. I throw a towel onto the bottom of the shower and lay him on it, turning on the warm steamy water. "It's gonna be ok baby I promise you." I grab the soap, washing away the grime on his body and in his hair. He winces, hands on his head, probably throbbing from his hangover. Oh how could this happen??? When I am done, I turn the water off and carry him onto his bed, wrapping him in those warm hotel blankets that he loves. "Let me call room service, that will make you feel better" I order the most expensive thing on the menu, and by now, Aaron has sat up and is talking to me. I grab him some water from the fridge and encourage him to drink it. We sit on the bed for an hour, watching cheesy reality TV shows and snuggling. Eventually, the steak arrives, and we gobble it up and drift to sleep. I didn't let go of him all night.
