Once again. This has nothing to do with the past one shots and/or the story in general.

Gajeel

Levy sat me down. We've been dating for a while now. And she still have to make everything a huge surprise.
I love it to be honest.
She's always keeping me on my toes. Like when we got together

Months Before

I was sitting at the bar drinking. When the shrimp grabbed me and started yelling about God knows what. Then I heard it

"CAN'T YOU TELL WHEN SOMEONE LOVES YOU?!" She screamed in my face.

"WHAT?!" I yelled back. Who could love a shit-for-brain-mean-asshole who doesn't care about anyone?

"GAJEEL. I FUCKING LIKE YOU."

"WHY?!" I yelled back. The whole guild was looking at us in confusion.

"BECAUSE I JUST DO YOU IDIOT!" She yelled. She then slammed her face into mine.
She wrapped her arms tightly around my neck. I pulled her waist in farther and kissed back.

Now

"Gajeel. You know how it's your birthday and all..." Levy stopped with a big smile on her face.

"I told you I don't wanna celebrate. Sorry babe." I complained.

"oh hush! It's not about that." She paused looking throughout the guild.

"Then what is it?" I asked confused and annoyed.

"Well babe. Close your eyes." Levy forced a hand onto my eyes.

"Okay okay. You don't have'ta dig my eyes outta' my skull." I said with a bit of snark. She removed her hand making sure my eyes were closed.

"shut up and let me give you your present." Levy hushed me. She put something in my hand.
She was quiet for a moment.

"Okay open your eyes." She said with a sweet sugar coated voice.
I looked up at her first.
She had the biggest, smile. I had ever seen in my life.

I slowly looking down at the little box.
I opened it up hesitantly, seeing a little thermometer looking thing.

Except it had two little lines where the temperature should be read.
I saw little blue writing on the side of it.
One Line. Not Pregnant. :(
Two Lines. Pregnant :)

I quickly looked back at the box I looked at before....

Two Lines...

I looked at her.

...I'm gonna be a dad...

"IM GONNA BE A DAD." I shouted not caring about who heard.
I saw heads turn.
"LEVY YOUR PREGNANT!! I'M GONNA BE A DAD!" I yelled grabbing her and hugging her swinging her around in circles.

I heard the guild member start cheering and clapping.

I couldn't think of anything better I had ever wanted.

I felt years well up in in my eyes. I sniffled.

I set her down.
And sat back down at the bar. I looked down. At my knees. I felt tears pricking my eyes. I wiped them immediately.

I felt a slap on my back.

"Good job Metal face..." It was Natsu. He had a hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks m-man." I stuttered through a sniffle. "I'm gonna be a dad." I said once more to him for no reason.

"And a damn well one you will be." He said walking back into the crowd that had formed of congratulations.

I'm gonna be a dad...

Future.

Man. Levy just gave birth and I held her hand the whole time.
Shit it was gross.
And we've been fighting a lot. But once I heard the crying. I knew it was all worth it.

This baby is my second chance.
Someone who I don't have to have a bad first impression on.

I looked to the tired Levy. Looking eager to hold her baby. She glanced at me. She smiled widely. It could compete with the smile she gave me when she told me she was pregnant.

I squeezed her hand tightly.
She squeezed it back.

I coughed through more tears
that threatened to fall.

"I love you Levy." I spoke in a soft whisper into her ear.

"I love you too Gajeel."

14 Years Pass.

Well. I never thought I'd love something as much as I loved Levy.
But is as wrong. This child is my life.

She's a spunky lil' reader. She's the most confused kid I'd ever met in my life.
She's like. If you mixed Levy and I up exactly Half Way. She's the most perfect thing in my life. She decided to take on my dragons laying instead of Solid Script. Levy was almost relived.

"You know. I'm not sure why Alex didn't just pick solid script." I spouted during dinner with Levy. 

"Oh honey shut yer face. You're a dragonslayer." She said with a tap on the arm.

"Yeah but she could literally solid script a diamond and sell it for like... A billion dollars...?. Hey you should do that!" I said chuckling.

"Gajeel you know that's very illegal." Levy warned. With a warm smile.

"You know. I've ruined you." I said with a smirk.

"Huh? What's that even mean?" Levy said a little worried.

"Well. Now? You are sassy. In a sexy way" I winked at her and gained and blush and a chuckle. "And you are scary at times. Yer tough as fuck. Oh! And you curse." I stated leaning back in my chair.

"Well I think I'm okay with being ruined than." Levy said running my arm.

"Damn right. You're more than beautiful. You're more than cute. I ain't saying you weren't sexy back then. But Damn! You're hips sway in the most tantalizing way." I said with a cocky smirk.

"Well. I can say with confidence. You haven't let yourself go just yet." She scorched her chair closer to me and started feeling my-yes-still-very-good-looking- muscles.

I smirked and started kissing her.
Hey. Being in your mid thirties doesn't mean I'm old just yet.
We quickly pulled apart. When I heard it.

"...gross... Get a room." I heard Alex sass.

"We have one. We are just to make sure our wittle baby. Leave's or Nora's house Safe." I stood up and started mushing Alex's big cheeks. She gets em' from her momma.

I heard flame brains kid giggle.
"Oh you have a goodnight Nash." I looked over to Natsus kid. Nashline is a good child. I can tell she's sinister (in a good way) when adults aren't around.

It's Nash and Ju's kid Nora who teach Alex all her sneaking out tricks. And it's Alex who teaches them all the dirty terms. Thanks to me

"I'm not a wittle baby. Dad." She smacked my hand away.

"Fine." I turned around and walked away passed levy who was now standing there smiling-or should I say hiding a smirk.

"Dad come'on don't be like that. Get yo bubblegum-dumb-dumb-looking-ass the fuck over here." She laughing a little.

That's my girl.

I stopped and turned around. And walked back over. Levy used or get made when Alex started cursing around 12 or 13 but she soon gave up. Which was funny cause that's around the time when she started curing too.

I hugged Alex tightly.

"Be safe. Minimal Drinking, 1 boy at a time-"

"GAJEEL!"

"No drinking. No no boys." I restated.

I earned another laugh from bother he kiddos.

"Alright. Be safe. Text me when you get there." I Ruffled my dark blue haired, burgundy eyed dragonslayer.

I pat Nash's head and shoved it out the door.

"AND STAY OUT." I yelled. I smiled as they walked away.
I watched with levy as the walked down the sidewalk steps.

"BY MOM!" Nash and Alex yelled.

"BYE GIRLS!" Levy yelled back.

I glanced at her. I never understood while all of Alex's good friends called Levy mom. But she must love it.

I just watched Levy and her waving. She was my everything.
Alex was my everything.
All her friends are her everything. So they are my everything too.

Is this what's it's like to be a parent?

1330 words! It's a late chapter! Sorry schools back up! So writing is a bit harder to do! BUT I WILL GET GAJEVY WEEK DONE.
