Kylo had work today.

Finn and Poe just wanted to play video games all day.

Rey was alone.

"Hey Rey! You sure you don't want to play?"

"Yes Finn!"

"Okay your lost."

After that she just heard the excited yells of the two boys.

Today was going to be boring. Really, really boring. She hovered over the on button on her phone before unlocking it.

Hey Kylo just wanted to ask, what time are you out from work? Maybe we could meet up? I don't have an intention of playing video games all day with my roommates.

Her reply came in a couple of minutes

Around 5:00 though I don't think we could meet up. I have a work event at 6:00.

She texted back

Okay, but maybe we could meet up for coffee at 5:00? Or you know after your work? It won't take that long

He answered in seconds

Sure see you at Starbucks?

She replied

Yeah see ya!

Rey put down her phone and sighed.

About 4 hours to go.

This was going to be boring until 5:00. For the whole day she basically just read, slept, and ate. Finally 4:50 rolled around.

In ten minutes it was time for coffee. Before leaving she looked inside the room where Finn and Poe were. They were still yelling and playing videos the same as hours before. Rey mentally reminded herself to turn off the tv once she came home.

She walked out of the door casually, Rey was pretty sure they won't notice she's gone.

After about 5 minutes of walking she made her way to Starbucks. Inside she looked around for Kylo, he wasn't there.

Next she made her way back outside and looked, he wasn't there.

Maybe he's a little late?

Yeah, late.

She waited for another 10 minutes

He never came.

Rey reached to text him on her phone.

KYLO WHERE ARE YOU?!

Seconds passed, and minutes passed.

He never replied.

He never came home.

Rey headed back to the apartment
