She didn't know how exactly to go about this.

Rey was pretty sure Kylo wanted nothing to do with her.

This will be hard.

Today was a "boring" day, Finn and Poe had to go to some resistance meeting (they call it a "special club" that helps others or some crap like that) and she was left alone for the day.

Rey was hungry. Her stomach longed for the famous sand treats sold at Jakku Eats (not actually sand in them) so she headed there.

What she didn't expect was for Kylo to be there too.

Great.

She made her way to the counter, smiling excitedly at the thought of filling her empty stomach.

"Three sand treats please."

"Coming right up."

The boy at the counter handed her the treats on a paper plate.

"That's $5.00 miss."

Rey handed him a five dollar bill then set off to finding a seat.

It was packed. Except for the booth in which Kylo sat. It was Sand Day and on that day the place was crowded, always crowded.

Surprisingly nervous, she made her way towards him.

"Hey uh excuse me?"

"Yes?"

He looked up from his phone.

"May I uh sit here?"

Kylo cocked his head to get a good look at her. It was the girl from yesterday.

"Sure."

Rey slide into the seat across from him and started to eat her sand treats.

"Hey aren't you the girl I met yesterday? You're name is Rey right?"

"Uh yeah?"

"Well-uh..nice to see you again?"

"You too?"

It was awkward.

They sat in silence for the next few minutes. Simply eating and focusing on everything but each other.

Soon Rey finished, thankfully. She got up the throw her plate away.

"Hey wait!"

She turned around and faced him.

"Will I see you again?"

"Sure."

Then she left.
