Ben started cussing under his breath. That stupid dare was the only reason she talked to him the first day they meet!

He needed to talk to her. Ben grabbed his phone from the table next to him.

Rey we need to talk

Her reply came about 5 minutes later

What about? I'm with Kyle

That stupid goddamn Kyle!

Can we talk when you get back? It's important

Ben heard a knock at the door a few hours later. It was Rey.

"You said we needed to talk."

"Yeah."

"Okay start."

"Rey was this all a dare?"

"What do you mean?"

"A dare. A dare to fall in love with me in 50 days?"

"You know about that?"

"Yeah I was told. Apparently this was all a dare. I thought...I thought-"

"What Ben?"

"Just forget it Rey!"

"Ben-"

She touched his shoulder in comfort.

"Forget Rey. Maybe this was a mistake. Obviously it was, if our friendship was based off a dare."

"Ben please! I can-"

"It won't help. Bye Rey."

"Fine. I have Kyle anyways!"

Rey ran out the door and slammed it. Once he was sure she left Ben walked over to his bed and a lone tear ran down his cheek.
