Xiao Zhan suddenly stops talking when he sees the face of the person who pulled and almost choked him. A tall guy wearing a black cap, plain black T-shirt, black skinny jeans, and white sneakers. He notices the guy's features, his soft white skin in a serious yet very handsome face and the red plumpy wet lips that didn't escape from his gaze, his jawline, the neck, and the Adam's apple that is bobbing up and down..oh no... Xiao Zhan gulped his saliva unconsciously.

“How do I rate?” Wang Yibo asked when he noticed the guy staring at him like he was giving a score to each and every part of his face.

“H-huh?” 

Xiao Zhan went back to his senses and blushed.

“You almost fell.”

“T-thank you.” Xiao Zhan uttered in almost a whisper tone.

“Mn.”

Wang Yibo just looks at him but still holding his collar tightly.

Xiao Zhan is waiting for the guy to let go of his collar but the man is not moving. Why is he not letting go of my collar? What did I do to him? I don't remember I aggravated someone or him. Maybe he really wants to kill me. Why is he not letting go of my clothes? Oh god.  Maybe he is a robbery man, a hold upper, a pickpocket guy. Xiao Zhan suspected the man was a bad guy.

“I don't have money, please spare me.”

“........”

Xiao Zhan felt the grip from his neck become tighter when he said those words.

“B-believe me, I am very poor. I-I...don't have cash.”

“........”

Because the guy is not talking and just staring at him intently, Xiao Zhan unconsciously crosses his arms on his chest.

“Please, have mercy on me. Spare my body. D-don't...r-rape me..please.” Xiao Zhan's eyes start to become teary and his body trembles thinking this man is going to wreck his body and soul.

“Just helping you.”

“Oh...Hahaha...I-I'm sorry...” Xiao Zhan heaved a deep sigh in an O-shaped mouth when finally the man spoke and clarified his accusation. Xiao Zhan straightens his body, fidgeting his fingers, and lowering his head.

“C-can you let go of my collar now?”

“Mn.” Wang Yibo let go of his clothes slowly to make sure he will not fall again.

“T-thank you again.” 

Xiao Zhan turns his back and walks fast while limping without looking back.

When he rolled from the bus because of the sudden break, his knee hit the steel on the chair. Because it was an accident, he can't complain to the bus driver.

Wang Yibo just watches him walking away and sighs. He wanted to help the man but he was afraid the man would touch him. Wang Yibo realized something. Why is he limping? Did he feel numb on his leg? Or is it his fault why the guy is limping now? Did he hit himself inside the bus when it broke because he blows his horn that much? Wang Yibo felt guilty and chased the beautiful guy. He smiles in his thoughts. Did he call him a 'beautiful guy? Well, he is indeed a pretty handsome beautiful guy.

Xiao Zhan walks slowly when he feels the handsome guy is not following him at all. He pouted his lips, his knee is really painful but he still has five hundred meters to walk before reaching his aunt's house. I'm gonna burn that car and the owner whoever you are. Do you think you own the highway huh? What an unlucky day.

Xiao Zhan wanted to protest but he can't really blame the bus driver, he knew him for how many years and he is really a very careful driver. When he gets on the bus earlier, he whispers to the driver. Koko, I will sleep at the back, please wake me up at the last stop. Thank you.

Xiao Zhan is busy with his own thoughts when suddenly his stomach growls. He then remembers he only eats bread secretly outside the office when he goes to the toilet. His lunch box is still full of rice and dishes that his auntie prepared for him this morning. He planned to reheat it and serve it as his dinner when he gets home.

Xiao Zhan startled when he tilted his head and saw the man already on his side.

“W-what do you want?”

“.......” 

“Why are you following me?” After he speaks, Xiao Zhan's stomach growls again.

“Let's eat.”

“Thanks. I'm good.”

Xiao Zhan was about to step his foot when his stomach growled loudly again. Wang Yibo looks at his tummy like he can see Xiao Zhan's empty intestines. He then looked around the place and saw a Sichuan Restaurant and pointed it with his finger.

“Let's go there.”

Xiao Zhan widened his eyes. He never experiences eating there because he has no enough budget and even though he got his salary he can't afford it. Xiao Zhan is a food lover especially spicy foods but he knows how to restrain himself from spending too much. He needs to save and budget his allowance well. He has more priorities to settle than expensive foods.

“No, I can eat at my house.” Xiao Zhan was betrayed by his stomach and it growls loud again.

“No good. Let's go.”

“I'm sorry, I need to go.” Xiao Zhan was about to turn his back when he heard the man raise his voice with authority.

“I said let's go!” 

“Excuse me? Why would I go with you?”

“I'm not bad, just helping you.”

“Why?”

“......”

“Give me a good reason why?”

“......”

“Yah! Why don't you speak at all?”

“Friends.”

“Y-you...you want me..to become your..” Xiao Zhan feels delighted and smiles cutely. He can't believe someone wanted to befriend him. But still, I suspect the guy. He knew this kind of situation, maybe the guy has an ulterior motive but still, he entertains the handsome guy.

“Mn.”

“Why me?” Xiao Zhan's stomach growled again. Xiao Zhan really blushed this time.

“Later, I will tell you.”

“You're not lying?”

“Let's go there.” Wang Yibo just nodded and pointed to the restaurant again.

“I can't walk properly. Help me.”

Wang Yibo's eyes sparkled when the man didn't protest at all. That means he is willing to go with him. Yes!

Wang Yibo holds his backpack to support him while walking slowly.

“Why aren't you holding me good? You should support me with your shoulder or hands.”

Wang Yibo's eyes widened and halted and lowered his head.

“I don't touch others.”

“Huh?”

“Not close yet.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“.......”

“Anyway, what is your name?”

“Wang Yibo.”

“Nice to meet you Wang Yibo. I am Xiao Zhan.” Xiao Zhan extends his hand forgetting what the guy told him earlier. Wang Yibo just nodded but didn't reach his hand. His mouth curved in a very slight form but Xiao Zhan noticed it.

“You smile!” Xiao Zhan said quickly.

“No.”

“I saw it.” 

Xiao Zhan's hand is still hanging in the mid-air but Wang Yibo just stares at it. Xiao Zhan pulls back his right hand and just scratches it at the back of his neck and continues to walk slowly and doesn't talk at all.

When they reach the door of the restaurant, the security guard opens it and the waitress welcomes them.

“Table for two.”

“Yes sir, this way please.”

Wang Yibo didn't let go of Xiao Zhan's backpack and held it well, afraid that Xiao Zhan might fall anytime. When they reached the table, Wang Yibo pulled the chair and let Xiao Zhan sit first.

“Aww, you are sweet Wang Yibo. Thank you.”

“Mn.” Wang Yibo's ear tips turned red because he received a compliment from Xiao Zhan.

Xiao Zhan looked at the menu and the prices and gulped his saliva.

“Ahahahah, Wang Yibo...I am hungry but I can't afford to pay for even one order. Can we find a cheaper restaurant?” Xiao Zhan said nonchalantly.

“Just order and eat.”

“I don't have money.”

“I'll pay.”

“Ha!?”

“Mn.”

“Ok, when I receive my first salary, I will pay you.” Xiao Zhan really feels embarrassed. The truth is that even though he got his salary, he still has enough money to buy expensive food. 

“No need.”

Xiao Zhan stares at Wang Yibo's eyes intently without blinking. He wanted to ask so many why's but there is something deep in his heart stopping him. Is he really serious about winning me as a friend? Is he buying me food to become his friend? Am I that easy?

Xiao Zhan looked at the menu list and just ordered one dish and the cheapest one.

“This. I like this.” Xiao Zhan pointed to the Sichuan Spicy Chicken on the menu list and showed it to Wang Yibo.

“More.” 

“Huh?! Wang Yibo, I don't have a salary yet but it will be finished soon with this food.” Xiao Zhan said in surprise and protest. 

Wang Yibo looks at him and nods with the slightest smile in the corner of his lips. 

Xiao Zhan saw Wang Yibo's smile and he doesn't understand why every time he caught Wang Yibo showing him a very slight smile on his face, he can't help his feeling but smile back sweetly. He just knew this guy for less than an hour yet he feels the man is a serious person. And he feels that this man rarely smiles. His heartbeat skips for split seconds and he smiles back and he giggles seeing the man on his side is blushing so hard.

Wang Yibo blushed when Xiao Zhan smiled back at him. Did he notice I smiled at him? Wow, his eyes are that sharp to notice it? His bunny teeth smile is so cute too. Ahh. Wang Yibo averted his gaze at the menu and pretended he didn't care at all.

Wang Yibo waved to the waitress and ordered some more food aside from Xiao Zhan's order.

When the food arrived, Xiao Zhan almost drools and excitedly picks the pair of chopsticks and quickly dips it into the glass of hot water. He didn't notice that Wang Yibo was watching him carefully and studying his reaction. Xiao Zhan was about to pick a piece of spicy chicken when he noticed Wang Yibo was just staring at him.

“Ahahaha, why do you look at me like that, Wang Yibo?” 

“Nothing. Just eat.”

Xiao Zhan quickly picks the piece of chicken and shoves it in his mouth and moans.

“Hmm, so delicious. Wang Yibo, wanna try?” 

“I don't eat spicily.”

“Oh.” Xiao Zhan continues to eat but eyes keep looking at a dish with no chili flavor. When he spotted the dumplings, he picked one piece and brought it near to Wang Yibo's mouth.

“Here...open your mouth.”

Wang Yibo was surprised but involuntarily opened his mouth and shoveled the dumpling in his mouth together with the tip of the chopsticks. He coughed when he tasted the spicy flavor from Xiao Zhan's chopsticks.

Xiao Zhan quickly licked the tip of his chopsticks and realized it was indeed spicy. Xiao Zhan quickly stands up and picks the glass of water and rubs Wang Yibo's back and lets him drink his water. 

“I'm sorry, I didn't realize it.”

“Mn.”

Wang Yibo finally said when he felt the spicy taste was gone in his mouth. Wang Yibo's eyes widened and froze his body straight when he felt a hand rubbing his back continuously in a circular motion and arching his back quickly.

Xiao Zhan halted and quickly retreated his hand. He wanted to ask why but when he remembered what Wang Yibo told him earlier, he covered his mouth with his two hands. Xiao Zhan saw Wang Yibo's reaction like a statue from the sudden shock. Wang Yibo is not blinking and just staring blankly.

“Y-yibo...I..I...I'm..I..” Xiao Zhan doesn't know what to do or say. He wants to comfort Wang Yibo. He doesn't know why he needs to comfort him. 

Xiao Zhan just stands like that and watches Wang Yibo until he moves and releases a deep sigh. Xiao Zhan slowly pulls his own chair and gets back to his seat properly and starts to dig in again silently.

Want Yibo picked his own chopsticks and dip them in the hot water and start to eat the not spicy food silently. The two didn't talk at all.

Xiao Zhan wanted to speak and ask forgiveness for touching him accidentally. He wants to know if Wang Yibo is mad at him. He wants to know what he feels when he rubs his back and why he doesn't like being touched.

Xiao Zhan gets confused and continues to eat silently until he notices he finished all the food that Wang Yibo ordered. Xiao Zhan tilted his head to his side and saw Wang Yibo munching his food in his mouth with no reaction. Xiao Zhan noticed a piece of dumpling wrapper stuck to the side of Wang Yibo's lips.

He unconsciously extended his hand and leaned closer to Wang Yibo's face to look closely into it and without notice, he picked the white dumpling wrapper with his fingers that made Wang Yibo tilted his face because of the contact of his finger to his lips. Before Xiao Zhan pulled his own face, Wang Yibo brushed his nose to Xiao Zhan's nose accidentally when he tilted his head. 

Xiao Zhan almost falls on his chair when he distances his face when he thinks  Wang Yibo will kiss him. The two stare at each other like no other people around them. Everything becomes silent and the world stops spinning, hearing only their heartbeats beating fast and pounding hard.
