Prologue
He stared. And if She wasn't there, then He would wait. He would wait as long as He needed to. Whether it was two, three, or four hours — it never mattered because it would all be worth it.
Because He would finally be able to see Her.
Just across the small and quaint café, hazel eyes met black.
Although the strangers never approached one another, their eyes did all the talking.
Something told Him not to be irrational — that eye contact was simply nothing more than short meaningless glances.
Yet it never felt meaningless to Him.
He stared. And if She wasn't there, then He would wait.
Because eventually, She would come around.
