SCENE THIRTEEN

EVERLY runs a hand through her hair, annoyed. She walks towards her "office" and sits down at the chair. There is a sticky-note full of names and numbers. She nods absentmindedly while reading it.

EVERLY(V.O.): Oh..it tells me who they are and how to call them. 

Her gaze turns to the telephone beside her, then back to the sticky-note. 

Secretary- press four

EVERLY presses the four and a voice is heard.

SECRETARY(O.S.): Hello, Ma'am! What would you like me to help you with?

EVERLY: Can you please tell me what I'm supposed to do?

SECRETARY(O.S.): Of course! There is a stack of papers on your desk that you are supposed to analyze. 

EVERLY: What are the papers for?

SECRETARY(O.S.): The papers are there for you to analyze which deals would best profit the company. There is also a document on your desk that gives you background information on the company.

EVERLY: Ok. Thank you.

SECRETARY(O.S.): Of course!
