SCENE TEN

EVERLY: We are all gathered here today to mourn the death of my mother. She was...simply.. awesome. She was always open-minded and loved to listen. She would always do her best to understand your problems. When my father left us, she broke down. The pain was too much for her. She pushed me away and left me all alone. But..I understood. What she was going through, was too much for me to understand. Even though all that happened...I still love her. She was a great mother and friend and nobody will be able to fill the holes in our hearts. Thank you.

A round of applause was heard as EVERLY exited the stage. She walked towards MARK with her lips pursed and a pained expression on her face.

MARK: Are you ready?

EVERLY: Yes.
