SCENE FIFTEEN

EVERLY is absorbed by the work. She doesn't hear MARK coming in. He slowly creeps toward her. 

MARK: Boo!

EVERLY yelps in surprise. She puts her hand over her chest and sighs.

EVERLY: What was that for?

MARK: You looked really...into it. I couldn't help it.

Even though MARK is an adult, he still acts like a young child.
