Uh, and I nearly forgot to write a new article...

We went to Spike Island today...

But first, we met us at quarter to nine for the train which would arrive at nine. It rainend.
At 9:30 we arrived in Cobh. It rainend yet.

Then we went to the Titanic Experience. It was in the building of the original White Star Line Office. We get tickets which looked like a boarding pass for the Titanic. They were old tickets so we were another person and after the tour we could look if our person survived or not. Then, an officier from the Titanic (it was just a computer animation) took us for a tour around the different decks. We saw a third class cabine, a first class cabine, the heartbreak pier, the save boats and how the Titanic sank. I couldn't make pictures, because it was forbidden.

After that, we took the ferry to Spike Island. That's a small island. It sill rainend, but I didn't care about that and so I enjoyed the sea while the boat drove to the island. I made a few videos.

On the island, our guide, a nice woman, showed us first the old pier and than we went up to the hill. There, we could find the big star fort. It was built for the savety of Cork because all ships, which wanted to go to Cork had to drive along the island. Later, the building was used as prison. A really bad prison. It excisted until 2004. Our guide told a lot of it, but my head hurted at this day (I drank to less in the last few days) and so I didn't follow all. But I made a lot of pictures ;)
