Weekly Update.. 12!
Ok, sorry I missed a week ahhh. I was currently on a island across the sea from my rabbits so it would be pretty hard taking pictures! Anyways, I collected them on Saturday from my grandparents when I came back so it's time to update.
Also I um... Have a lot of things to talk about... Housing, predators, cute fluffballs and holidays! Well done me, I have created some sort of web magazine lmao.
So the bunnies are doing good, I suppose, although we had a unexpected visitor yesterday which gave them a big scare. But that can wait.
I'm doing great after my holiday, my mental health feels great, I feel like I can run for than 10 seconds without dying because we've been so busy, I've slept better, eaten better. Honestly man, breaks are fucking great.
Anyways, rabbit housing.
I hate the hutch. I don't think there's enough space and it's not secure enough. We can't free roam indoors because there's nowhere for them to go, plus my siblings have allergies. So we've come up with an alternative. Also there's a spider on the ceiling right over my bed... And yesterday there was a spider hanging from the fucking TAP. Like yes, I totally want to drink spiders! ;—;
So we're planning on building a large shed with a window, lockable door (obviously.), ledges to jump on and a large run attaching to it with a closable door. We'll also give it insulation to keep them cool. It's going to be a much better improvement and I'm so excited!
They'll need that extra protection. Let me give some backstory.
The neighbours have a cat. A kitten in particular, well a young cat and not a actual small kitten.
We first found out about this kitten when my dad was doing the garage roof, it walked up to him and was really welcoming and friendly, it literally tried to jump off after him once he's was finished.
A few days later other people in the street turn up saying that they're worried about the kitten and they think it's lost or is a stray.
A couple of days after that, my mum gets this letter in the post talking about a neighbourhood app you can join. Next doors kid spoke to her first, asking if she'd seen a kitten because hey, it was lost.
Actually, it was kidnapped. A woman bought it into her house saying she was going to keep it. My mum gave the neighbours address but the woman wouldn't give her address. So you can't exactly get the cats back.
After days of persuading this bitch and almost everyone hating my mum, thinking she was a bit... Mean? I dunno man. Everyone acts like kids really. The lady doesn't give the cat back. Another neighbour manages to get the cat from where it was left in the person's garden with no shade, on a really warm day, and brings it back home.
Yay, that was the story of the cat!
Anyway, what does it have to with the rabbits? It went in our garden and spooked everyone out.
As soon as they noticed it, the rabbits went nuts, they raced around stamping and Billie especially, growling. I hated that experience, I was so worried they'd go into shock or something.
The cat was interested in them but not necessarily aggressively. I did play with the cat too when it was away from the rabbits. It was a kitten so still nippy and playful. It got me in a leg lock lmao. I didn't mind, as long as it doesn't go for the rabbits... Or my toes, like my friend's puppy used to do...
Having a small creature with pointy teeth attack your toes is the worst experience ever. Trust me lol.
Anyway, the rabbits ran inside the pet carrier so we brought them inside. The cat decided it also wanted to go inside -_-
So we had a cat in our house for a moment. I think this cat is called Tina btw. I'm fed up of calling it Cat all the time.
Luckily we put the cat outside and it left as a police car drove past, (later some sort of boat rescue thing drove past as well as a fire truck. I-I dunno what the fuck happened but, ok.)
So the rabbits were majorly freaked out. I decided to cuddle them and let them chill. Blackberry originally only wanted to come out, she calmed down pretty quickly.
But then Billie started to stamp and growl so we got him out too, thinking he was impatiently. He just fucking melted as soon I started stroking him.
He later layed down on my lap whilst Blackberry lay next to me. It was really sweet tbh. Billie was so relaxed, he'd let me try to rescue his foot when he couldn't get grip on me and he let me stroke his whiskers. It was awesome.
But then he started to growl again so we got them in.
So yeah. I dunno what to do. We have a cat next door that's going to live 10+ years and rabbits that will live to 10+ years. So we are sort of stuck with a cat '-'
I think I'll just encourage it away from the rabbits and give it no attention when it's near there but move over and call her to me and give her attention away from the rabbits. I guess they'll just have to get along, god help us.
Seriously though, does anyone have any suggestions of what to do? Anything better than my grandfather's suggestion of using a fucking water pistol or spreading LION pee around the garden?
Anyway, I guess it's cute fluffball time! ^-^
Billie in my grandparents garden!
Blackberry flopping in their garden!
Billie on lookout like a meerkat!
Billie glad that I'm back, he's the king of flopping lmao
Billie flopping again! :3
Sleepy Berry.
And that's all the cute fluffball photos I have!
And now hooman and their holiday!
So yes, I had a great time. The house was really nice, I really liked the living room, though I don't have a picture of it.
I have a picture of the creepy wardrobe in my sisters bedroom though!
Also there are about over 20 mirrors on the house! Wtf. You Satanists!
Here's the island itself though. The ferry was great. Once Coronavirus has cleared up, I may be going abroad for a couple of nights. Somewhere local and not too warm like France or Germany. I can say potato in German so I'm obviously totally ready to go there.
I don't want to go to Spain, I'm not a big fan of the weather. And no offense but I don't really like all the traditions involving horses, I know not every Spanish person agrees with it which is great, but still. It's pretty sick the bullring thing, especially when they involve horses too. And I hate how they train the Lipizanner horses. It's quite abusive as the bits they use are fucking horrible and they literally force the horse to do painful tricks. Not right.
Uh, wtf lol. Got carried away. I don't hate Spanish people, just some of the traditions.
Anyways, lights! There is a forest in the Isle Of Wight, which is where I went, and they put loads of lights in their, it's called Shanklin Chine and it's really nice lmao. Check it out if you ever go. Even if you just visit England, I would recommend a day trip to some of the islands.

We also went to The Needles which are these fancy rocks in the see. A view from the top of the cliff!
Also got this friend from the place because they sell glass and you put coloured sand in the glass :P
And this is a rather Satanic cat canvas! :3
Here's it's more friendlier counterpart:
I also got, a wolf statue, food that quickly went, a red squirrel statue, a border collie statue and a spikey necklace that doesn't actually dig into my jugular :)
And here's a Mike Dirnt I spent hours drawing last night! I fucking love it! I know the nose is weird, I can't draw noses.
Also, Mike appears to be the most interactive member of Green Day, online at least. Whenever someone's piece of art or something gets noticed by one of the members it is mostly Mike that I see. So ya know. I'll tag him on Instagram and see if he notices it. If he does then I'll have a heart attack, so be prepared for that lmao.
Alrighty, you have read through around 1500 words, I am so sorry lmao. I did have a lot of news to cover though. I hope your having a good day!
I'm gonna go now! Stay safe! <3
