So I'm really worried about Blackberry, she seems a lot better now but earlier she seemed ill.

Let me describe what happened:

The rabbits were outside and it was time they go in. I noticed Blackberry was sat in a weird position, her body was hunched and her hindquarters were pressed against the corner of her run.

Billie hopped inside the pet carrier instantly and I put him away. Next it was Blackberry's turn. She wasn't moving. I lifted up the roof of her run and she still didn't move. She was shaking and wouldn't move at all. It took a while but we managed to get her inside the pet carrier and took her inside to check on her.

I was very worried because my rabbits mean so much to me, Blackberry especially. I got her onto the couch and she instantly sat in 'loaf' position but even more hunched up that usual. She was kinda cold and she didn't want to move, she was shaking violently.

Me and my dad tried to find out what was wrong and she became active again for a moment, acting how Blackberry acts but then she was hunched up again and shaking.

But then she eventually stopped shivering and started to relax and become active again. Before she didn't want to eat or drink which is very unlike my rabbits, they're little foodies (Billie was literally waiting for me to give him treats when I returned about an hour later with Blackberry).

She eventually ate something. I offered her water and she eventually drank. My dad started to do some research. At first he thought it was some sort of muscle spasm but he now thinks it was either indigestion or hiccups. Because apparently rabbits shake and get scared when they shiver.

We waited around 10 more minutes after Blackberry acted like herself again and returned her back into the hutch with Billie.

I really hope she's alright and it is just hiccups. This rabbit means a lot to me. She's a lot more than just a 'pet', both of them are my companions but me and Blackberry, I feel as though I have a special bond with her.

My grandparents bought the rabbits for me at a time where I was very upset so I may not actually be here without them. These creatures mean a lot to me and I love them so much, they help with my depression, they help calm me down when I'm stressed or anxious.

I really hope she's alright.

Here were her symptoms: A lot of shaking, lethargic behaviour, loss of appetite.

If you have any idea what's wrong with her please let me know and also let me know if your pet has having acted like this. Obviously because of what's going on at the moment I can't really get her to the vet which really sucks!
