Day 4
I'm smiling today.
And it felt good
What a beautiful way,
To feel understood.

The process was long,
The journey was hard.
I was never wrong,
I was only unknowing from the start.

But the lesson finally caught up with me,
And I can enjoy my days,
Transformation of my soul came to be,
And my happy thoughts are here to stay.

Thinking of you made me sad,
But it doesn't anymore.
Because I understand, and I am glad,
That I needed to explore.

I was caught in a mundane world before you.
And you came and inspired more to me,
Because my dreams still needed to come true.
As there was always something more I was meant to be.

Looking back, it's clear now.
And I am at peace.
It's time for us to take a bow,
And put our minds at ease

You see, you brought out the best parts of me,
Even if you didn't know it when we said goodbye.
That you made a new version arise and come to be.
And I can spread my wings and fly.

We may not have been good to each other.
But we were good for each other
To inspire, and become more
And to finally grow from one another
