"Write from the perspective of someone who works at a hotel or staying at a hotel."

I like staying at hotels, for a brief period of time, at least and preferably if I do not have to share the room with anyone else and a decent gap between the stays.
There is something oddly comforting about the detachment and the politeness that pervades in hotel atmosphere. Invisible hands that clean up behind you; beds made, pillows fluffed up, towels replaced. Then there is the polite greetings as you order or step into the dining rooms, the inexpressive faces do not allow you to glean any of their thoughts -"Service with a smile" drilled into every tiny action of theirs.
The solitude is refreshing, as you sit in one of the similarly designed rooms, drinking coffee, which could be tasty but is not like the one you make at home.
The peace is at the expense of being away from family. And for a couple of days, it helps - for you learn to set things in perspective. As you pack up to leave, it with excitement, you are going home.
