So how would the youtube homepage look like for me? You do not have to guess, I will put it below:

It looks more like a music list with cartoons in it (that is courtesy my cuddle monster, who currently is fascinated with Thomas and trains and the title songs is his favorite -"they're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight...). And it is a testimony to the other addiction I have, apart from books, listening to music. Especially the oldies, songs which are poetry, lyrics that are  poignant and emotions that are eternal. Some of them are timeless, be it Rafi's voice, Asha's mellifluousness or Vivaldi's vivid compositions. They are timeless and capable of changing one's moods. 

But the funny thing about music is that though it is universally loved and acknowledged, sparks fly and wars erupt when it comes to which music is your favourite. For though the word is universal, apparently what it means is not. So we have rock and roll, blues, lullabies, soft numbers, instrumental pieces (only drums, strings, wind or combinations) loud and thumping or slow and mind numbing. And each piece has its ardent devotee, a staunch follower. 

As is said about food, one man's meat is another man's poison. One man's harmony is another man's chaos. 

Though I like this one better" "Music is our God, though we follow different religions." And this is quite a perfect analogy, we fight for it in similar fashion.
