I certainly walk around life oblivious
I have mastered the art of tuning out voices
Even my mother tongue sounds gibberish
It helps me keep out of people's business
I never even register what they say

But eyes oh eyes! I speak fluent eyes
Fluent eyes with a sorrows accent
They tell stories in such great detail
Swiftly before my boundaries prevail
Where words failed, eyes didn't lie
