It's been five months since I've talked to Chris . I miss him more than anything in the world . I hear he's doing good now . Preparing to graduate early and has a scholarship to a college. "BITCHHHHHHHHHHH "

I wake up cringing at the loud scream . Opening my eyes I see kim sitting on top of me .

"MY BIRTHDAY IS LESS THAN ONE DAY AWAY " she yells again . " WE HAVE SO MUCH TO DO GET OUR NAILS DONE , GET OUR HAIR DONE , GO SHOPPING , OH MY SO LITTLE TIME " she dramatically falls .

"Kimberly calm down we can do that all in a day " I say then yawning.

"THEN WE MUST GET READY NOW " she yells damn near dragging me into the bathroom then throwing some clothes closing the door .

"Jesus " I mumble . I take some time to actually wake up first and look in the mirror. I look at my red swollen face and wash the dried tears off of it . I haven't talked to Chris since the night he flipped out on me and it was killing me . He wouldn't answer any of my calls or text and he blocked me on Instagram. Who knew we would go through all of that making up just to become strangers again . Tuh... and to think I let my first sexual experience be with that nigga . Even though I enjoyed it ... a lot .

I get in the shower taking my time rubbing my body with the fresh scented dove body wash . Trying to wash all of my sorrow away so I don't ruin Kim's week. Me , Lucas , and ms Smith has been secretly talking about what to do and Kimberly is going to have a blast . I just hope I can keep it together until then .

Ms Smith still hasn't told her children about what's going on with her . She says she will after all the fun but I know she doesn't really want to .

Getting out the shower I dry off , do my hygiene , and put lotion on . Kimberly threw me a simple outfit to wear

I put on makeup around my eyes to make sure no one could tell I've been crying myself to sleep for the past five days . I put my hair in a simple bun and go downstairs.

"Just because your turning 18 don't mean you grown nigga and let me find out you and Anthony having sex-"

"What's the plan for today ms birthday girl " she smiles at Kim .

"Me and dori going to the nail salon , the beauty shop , and the mall " she tells her and Lucas face forms into a mug .

"Sounds fun " ms Smith smiles .

" and who in the hell is taking y'all to all these places ?" Lucas ask and ms Smith smacks him.

"Watch your mouth " she says

"I didn't even curse "

"You taking her wherever she wants to go it's her birthday" ms Smith tells him.

"Her birthday is tomorrow " he says " the fuck do I look like a damn Chauffeur?" He ask and she smacks him again causing us to laugh ."Okay ma damn " he rubs his head .

"You all have fun , I'm off on a date " she smiles . Not momma smith on a date .

"With who ? " I smile .

"This man from my job , well old job " she explains and I squeal "his name is mike "

"And who said you could go on a date ?" Lucas ask

"I'm grown little boy " she responds

"You better not be acting grown thats all I know " he says . This man swear he somebody dad .

"Maybe I'll go out and give y'all a sibling " she smirks and I laugh . Kim and Lucas look at each other then back at her .

"Go crazy ms Smith " I hype her up .

"Oh yeah a date at ten o'clock in the morning is bound to get crazy " Kim says sarcastically laughing with Lucas .

"Whatever " she says saying her goodbyes and walking out .

"Come on let's go "kim says and we go to Lucas car . When we get in he turns on future and Kimberly automatically snatches the aux .

"Nigga are you out yo damn mind " he yells snapping his head looking at the backseat .

"It's my birthday so we finna listen to nba youngboy " she cheeses

"First of all your birthday is TOMORROW" he starts "and secondly it's bad enough you already look like a damn youngboy , you don't need to be listening to him " he says and I laugh

"Adoria don't laugh at him he not funny " she mugs and I laugh harder .

"Aye don't be coming for my bay cause yours is herpe infested " he says .

"I really dislike y'all , Lucas keep playing with me imma get Anthony to beat yo ass " she tells him .

"Girl please Anthony couldn't beat a flies ass let alone mine "

"Adoria why in the hell you so quiet ?" Kim ask . I was tempted to state my problem but I decided not to .

"Oh just listening" I smile .

"Man she lying " Lucas mumbles "she miss that nigga Chris "

"He still hasn't called ? "She ask

"Didn't I just say that " Lucas says and she hits him .

"Look I'm fine you guys , seriously " I say . Thanking god that we were finally at the nail salon .

"Cmon bestie lets go get cute " Kim says jumping out the car . I start to get out then Lucas pulls my hand pulling me back . He kisses my hand and nods . I blush and get out the car . Why do he have to lighten my mood all the time .

Me and Kim walk in the nail salon and tell the lady in the front what we want . It was very packed and busy so we had a thirty minute wait .

"So bestie what are you getting me for my birthday ?" Kim asks cheesing

"A big bag of nunya " I cheese back and her face forms into a mug.

"You hella corny " she says and I laugh . " you having fun so far ? "

"Yes ma'am I'm thinking about moving back to be honest " I answer .

"You know you have a place to stay if you ever do " she says and we continue talking . We could talk for hours if we wanted to . That's why she was my best friend we connect on a very deep level .

"I haven't seen y'all in forever what y'all been up to ? " she ask sitting down next to us getting comfortable.

Me and Kim go to the beauty shop and get our hair done . I got blonde box braids and she got her hair straightened . She looks so pretty .

"Awe look at my baby " I record her and she poses . We go to the car and Lucas gasp .

"Oh my god I didn't know I had a sister " he says and Kim smacks him .

"And?! tell her , I'm done with her until further notice " he says pulling up to a McDonald's.

"And this not yo car " he says back ."you want something?" He ask me . I nod and tell him what I wanted . He orders we get our food and we were off to the mall.

"Oh yeah Lucas this girl name diamond said hey " Kim tells him

"Hell Yeah , her and her fine ass sister " he says

"Her sis coming to my party "

"Nigga how you gone invite people to a party you don't even know about ?" Lucas ask .

"Yeah ight " Lucas says in blueface voice and we laugh pulling up to the mall.

"Get out " he says stopping in front of the entrance .

"You not coming in ? " I ask .

"I will if you want me to my love " he says dramatically. I roll my eyes and smile . He ended up parking and coming in with us .

I was having a blast . All Kim and Lucas do is Joan and argue these two a trip . We were in footlocker and Kim and Lucas were looking at shoes while I was walking around day dreaming . What if I never speak to Chris again like in my dream ? I love him so much , we were supposed to be forever , I was supposed to loose my virginity to him . I still would , I still want to . At least I know I am tied to him in some way .

"Excuse me " a deep voice says behind me . I notice I was standing in front of the exit .

"I'm sorry " I say turning around seeing trey .

"Ew " I mumble

"Nice to see you to " he says smiling. " I almost didn't notice you with your hair looking like this " he says grabbing one of my braids . I swat his hand away .

"Why are you here ? " I ask

"I didn't know I couldn't come to a public mall " he smirks and I roll my eyes " I thought we were cool now ? " he ask

"Just because I had a drunk conversation with you doesn't mean I like you " I say walking alway.

"I love you to Adoria " he says after me . I catch up with Kim and Lucas and we end up leaving .

"Bay I got you some shoes " Lucas tells me

"I picked them out " Kim rolls her eyes .

"Nobody ask yo ass all that " Lucas bucks at her . He opens the shoe box and I gasp

"Oh my gosh "

"I know right , I'm totally wearing them " Kim says . We go back to the house and chill in the living room .

"Aye where is ma? " Lucas ask hitting the blunt .

"She not back yet " I yawn .

"Awl hell nah " he says grabbing his phone . I grab it from him

"Lucas let her live " I laugh .

"She not grown she needs to be home " he says reaching for it . We started wrestling and of course he was winning he grabs his phone back and calls her . Soon as the phone starts to ring the door opens .

"And where in the hell have you been ?" Lucas ask . She was glowing .

"Having the best day ever " she smiles

"Awee " I gush.

"That's sick "lucas mugs.

"Tell us about your date " Kim says " oh and dori don't forget to send out the invitations "

I nod and start texting while ms smith shares her story . I text keke and she said she'll be there . Now I text rose

Me: hey that's the information to the party ^
Rose: thank you again 😊 do you mind if I bring a plus one ?
Me : depending on who it is 😅
Rose: my boyfriend Chris

I read the message and gulped . I start to sweat and the room began to get dark the only thing I could see was the phone . I was praying it was another Chris and not my chris . Please don't let it be chris king I pray

Me: sure let me just get y'all full name to go on the list

I try to sound as normal as possible

I drop my phone in my lap and sigh.
