"Wake up suh yo Uber outside " Chris shook me waking me up .

I go to the bathroom and freshen up . Then I go to kitchen .

"Wow breakfast looks good " I say as ms Joyce puts the food in front of us .

"Ma where is pop? " Chris ask . I was going to ask the same thing . He usually never miss breakfast .

"Oh I don't know , that man is never home " she gives a weak smile "Excuse me " she says getting up going to the bathroom . I look and Chris and he was eating . I could tell something was wrong with his mom she just didn't want to say anything.

I read the text and start panicking looking around .

"What's wrong ?" Chris ask

"It's trey , he-  he's watching " I say

"What ? " he ask I throw him the phone then run to the window .

I got into mr Clinton's car and we take off .

I roll my eyes and look up seeing we were at McDonald's.

" thank you mr Clinton " I say then go inside. I Oder lucas food then try to figure out why trey was doing this. Maybe I should just go back home .

I see Melvin walk in the McDonald's with the girl that was all on Chris the other night

"Seven " the McDonald's lady said my name indicating the food was ready . I walk pass Melvin and grab the bag.

I walk up to the house and ring the doorbell . To my surprise Anthony opens the door .

"Lucas you need to take some medicine olé retarded ass " Kim says coming down the stairs . She looks so pretty .

"Yeah hurry up , today is picture day so we gotta post on the ig " they say so I went up stairs and got ready .

Coming back downstairs I see that there mom was home and they were all talking in the kitchen . I took some pics of them and decided to join

"Hey Adoria you look pretty as always "ms smith says

"Don't lie to her" Anthony says and they laugh.

"The movie starts at 4 so we better get going " she says

"Alright lucas Come take me and Seven picture outside " Kimberly says

" me and amber gone take ours at the movies " he says . Amber , Anthony , and ms Smith talk while we go take our pics .

We buy the tickets for get out and we spread out across the theater . I felt bad for ms Smith but she insists that she will be fine .

I sit next to Chris at the very top and just stare at him . I start to kiss him along his jawline and down his neck . I didn't know why but it just seems right

"Excuse me sir were gonna have to ask you to leave " the big black man says to Lucas

"Nigga please you gone have to get a damn teacup and spoon to make me get out " he says . Me and Chris couldn't help but to laugh at his creative stupid ass for his choice of word play .

"What about some handcuffs and some charges? " the security guard ask

"Oh okay so you one of them " lucas says pointing to the movie

"Lucas boy let's just go "amber and ms Smith say .

"Y'all chill I know how imma fix this "he says . He grabs his phone and takes a picture of the man with the flash on . He is a damn fool .

We follow the security guard as he carries Lucas out and we go to the parking lot

"Lucas you are a fool " Chris laughs

"A damn fool " ms Smith's says smacking him in the head . "Where is Kim and Anthony ? " she ask

"Making you some grandkids " lucas says causing him to get smacked again .

"This is why you don't take niggas on medication to the movies " amber says taking him to the car .

"Y'all gone ahead with Lucas I'll wait for kim " ms smith said

"She just text and said that her and Anthony went out to dinner and not to wait up " I tell ms Smith watching her face drop .

"Well we were gonna eat dinner when we got back to the house " she mumbles and then puts a smile back on her face . "It's fine let's go " she says .

We leave and go back to there house . Chris decides to stay and we watch another movie with popcorn and snacks .

"What ? " I ask

"Ian smoke in a long time " he sighs . Amber looks at him with a mug on her face

"Nigga it's been a day in a half " she says  and we laugh

"That's to damn long , I gotta go smoke I'll be right back Chris you tryna match ? " he ask

We start talking to kill time cause the movie was getting boring . Today was one of the best days of my life . Who knew that having fingers put inside of you would feel that good . 

Lucas walks back in the room and plops on the couch looking at the ground . I can't tell if he was mad,  sad high or all of the above .

"Lucas you good ? " I ask . He didn't answer instead he just looks at the tv . We decide to leave him alone I guess he will tell amber later

The movie ends and Lucas gets up .

"Where are you going ? " amber ask him .

He kisses her forehead , kisses my forehead , daps up Chris then walks out.

Amber looks at me I just shrug my shoulders I didn't know what was going on with him .

"He got shot , right in front of me , I saw it all " she says . My heart sinks .

" who shot him ?" my voice cracks

"Trey " She cry's more . I bring her into my arms and let her cry in my chest . Trey was taking this shit to far , and to poor sweet Melvin his bestfriend.

I check my phone and see I have a text from him .

Trey... Chris is next !

Trey... that nigga called me a bluff and he was saying to much , you better be glad I'm not not touching Kimberly's family since she saw everything tell her to count her blessing .

I read that text and threw my phone . I hate him

"He said Chris was next " she says .
