It had been a very long day on the set of the final Captain America movie, and you had decided to surprise the love of your life with a visit to the set. You still lived in Los Angeles, but Robert had seemed pretty down the last time you talked to him. He was in Romania and wouldn't be back for another month at least.

So you hopped onto a plane and headed for Bucharest. He had no idea you were coming. You took a quick cab to the set, walking up to Robert's trailer with a grin on your face. You knock softly, as it's very late.

"Robert? You home?" you ask, peaking through the window when he doesn't answer. You see your husband stretched out on the small bed, catching some well-deserved sleep. You smile softly at his dreaming face and turn the knob to slip into the unlocked trailer. "Robert?"

Robert shifts in his sleep, not waking up. You turn off the TV and lights, slipping into the small bed beside him like you have many times before. He shifts unconsciously so you can lie down beside him. He rolls over onto his stomach, resting his head onto your shoulder with his arm laid across your stomach.

You smile down at him, running your fingers through his hair as you lean your chin onto his locks. You pull the covers over you both, and your arms wrap around his shoulders. "I love you."

Robert shifts again, turning his eyes up to look at you. In a barely conscious state, he smiles. "I love you, babe," he whispers. "You came."

You press a kiss to his forehead. "I'll always come when you need me."

He sighs heavily, snuggling into you again. "Today just got a lot better."
