When the two of you get to the studio, Tom and you are greeted with "good luck!"s and "you can do this, kid!"s. Your hand around Tom's you feel him relax and become more at home as the minutes go by, waiting outside the audition room.

You turn to him and smile. "You're going to do fantastic."

He turns to you and blushes. "Um... [Y/n]-"

"-Tom Holland?" Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr stand in the audition room doorway.

Tom nods. "Hey, guys."

Chris smiles. "You ready to audition?"

He nods, and you whisper, "Good luck, Tom."

He turns to you, giving a confident smile. "Ready!"

One Week... And Two Auditions Later

You and Tom decided to stay in L.A. until you got word of his results from the audition. Marvel said it might take a week to get through all the auditions and come to a decision. That was fine with the two of you; it just meant more time in a huge city that you'd never been to before.

You spent most of the week site-seeing, until Tom god that destined call. You watch as his face starts to break into a grin, and he starts jumping up and down. "Thank you so much for the news, Mr. Evans! See you in a week!" He ends the call, turning to you. "I got the part!"

You throw your arms around his neck and jump up and down with him. "Congrats, Tom!"

All of a sudden, he stops jumping and turns to you, pulling you close. "Can I kiss you? I've wanted to for a long time. Just didn't know the right time."

You nod, grinning. "You may."

A new city, Tom as Peter Parker, and this kiss made the trip to Los Angeles one that you will never, ever forget.
