LXXXIV. Do You Like Sailing? (Part 2) ☆ Peter Parker
He did come back. The first time he returned, a shy grin on his face when he saw you working the counter, he walked up to you and greeted, "Hi."
You looked up from your register and smiled widely. "Hey! It's Peter Peter Parker!" You referred to his jumbled introduction the previous day.
Peter blushed. "I don't know what it was that you gave me yesterday, but I breezed through my Spanish test without a problem. I'd like another."
You turned to Felix, wiggling my eyebrows as you replied to Peter, "That's one of our popular drinks. We call it 'Hulk' because it's smashing."
Peter attempted to hold back a laugh and he shook his head. "One of those, please."
"Comin' right up, Peter Peter Parker!"
Peter took a seat as he waited. When his cup of coffee was finished, you wrote, "'Are you the Hulk? 'Cause you're smashing!'"
"Peter Peter Parker?" you called, and he instantly stands. "Here ya go!"
Peter grabbed the cup, replying, "Thanks." He turned to leave, but then spun back around and mumbled, "So...I guess I'll see you tomorrow then? I...have to have coffee before school, and this place is close, and you seem nice--"
You giggled softly at Peter's rambling. "I'll be here, Mister Parker. Have a great day."
Peter flashed a smile before he left. He looked down at the writing immediately, grinning to himself as he exited the shop.
"Well," Felix sighed, waltzing over to your counter, "at least he came back."
"I told you he would!"
"He must be either really sweet or really stupid. I tried that on a boy once."
"Is that how you got that restraining order?"
"Who told you about that?"
You gave him a mischievous look. "Oh, Fe. You innocent cinnamon roll."
