Your heart dropped when you saw him across the airport tarmac. You couldn't believe that he had sided with Tony over the Sokovia Accords, especially since he was one that was directly affected by them. His sister stood beside you, looking just as sad to see him on the opposite side.

Somehow he just smiles when he sees you, even with Iron-Man on his left, Black Widow to his right, and Vision floating above him. You knew he had a crush on you, Wanda told you when you left the Avengers after Ultron. Looks like you both have to face off against the people you care about in this Civil War.

"It's good to see you again," Pietro says with a smile.

"Don't look so happy, dummy. We're on opposite sides." You roll your eyes. "You don't have to do this," you tell Pietro, trying to reason with him before things get ugly.

Pietro looks to you, then to those beside him. For a moment, he almost looks trapped by the decision he's already made. "Ultron almost killed me, [Y/n]," he finally replies. "If the Sokovia Accords had been signed then, maybe I wouldn't have been shot."

You shake your head. "You're the freest person I know, Pietro. They're not going to let you be that way!"

"She's right," Wanda adds, looking to her brother. "They locked me in my own home because I tried to save someone."

Pietro turns back to you, giving you a small smile. He gives you a wink, and a smile spreads across your face. Before you can blink, Quicksilver is gone, Iron-Man is going flying across the pavement, and the rest of Team Iron-Man is scattered and fallen over.

"You make a fair point!" Pietro skids to a spot in front of you after he finishes knocking them over.

"You on Team Cap now?" you chuckle.

He grins boyishly down at you. "I'm on Team You."
