Another familiar, yet still strange, face appears at the top of the stairs. Short blonde hair and blue eyes give the figure away, but feminine isn't a word you thought you'd ever use to describe Steve Rogers.

"I won't ask why or who, 'cause I know it was [Y/n] with that stupid spellbook," Steve begins, his voice higher than you've ever heard, but still in the same Brooklyn accent. "Just...how long is this supposed to last?"

"Don't know, don't care," Tony answers for you, eyeing Steve as he descends the stairs. "My god, you make a good looking woman, Rogers. Anyone ever tell you that?"

Steve ignores Tony's comment and turns to Bucky and Sam. They all stare at each other for a few seconds, then Steve runs a hand through his short, blonde hair. "We're still us, but...not really us, too."

"Not at all," Tony states with a smirk. "Okay, show of hands: who checked to see if they lost their manly bits?" Tony raises his hand, but no one else does. "C'mon. I can't be the only one."

You give yourself a facepalm, and Thor bursts out laughing. "I must admit, I did check."

You and Bucky both turn to look at the demi-god with a look of disgust. You scoot away from him, moving closer to Bucky. As he usually does, Bucky slips a protective arm around your waist.

"Um, ew?" you reply.

Thor looks to you with a face that tells you he doesn't see what's wrong about admitting that. "What?"

You shake your head, turning away from Thor. "Gross."

"Wait, we haven't answered the important question here," Clint says seriously, leaning over the counter, eyes flickering to each Avenger. "If Nat and Wanda were here...would they be guys?"

Sam turns to Clint with an expression half-way between confused and "what the fuck." "Dude, just once, I would like to see inside your head to see what goes on," Sam admits. "Just once, 'cause what the hell?"

Clint shrugs defensively. "What? It's a valid question!"

"But important?" Steve asks, raising his eyebrows. "Really? Right now?"

"Oooh, I wonder if Pepper's here," Tony snickers.

Clint crosses his arms over his newly transformed chest, giving Steve a sassy look. "You got any better ideas?"

"Yeah, how about we freakin' fix us?" Sam suggests.

Loki shrugs from across the kitchen, still eating leftovers. "I'm fine as I am."

"Same here, dude," Clint says.

"Wait until you get periods and cramps," you grumble.

"What?"

"You bleed for a week as your uterus commits suicide."

Clint makes a horrified face. "On second though, nah."

"Wait...has anyone seen Bruce or Stephen yet?" Bucky asks. "They're here too, aren't they?"

You groan, closing your eyes. "Stephen's gonna kill me."
