Blackness seemed to over his body. Almost a liquid, it seeped into his lungs. He tried to call out, not sure to whom, but try to get his voice heard. Nothing came. Silence pierced his ears like the Rowan's arrows. The creature tried to find a surface to place his paws and hooves, but he seemed to be swimming in a bottomless river of dark.

Suddenly, a light erupted in front of him, penetrating the black. He saw that he could distinguished his paws and tails. As though gravity just kicked back in, the creature landed on a black surface, smooth as glass. The circle of bright light was still in front of him, warming and beckoning him. 

Finally, the day has come!... The creature stepped forward on the dark surface, hesitant at first, but quickly gaining speed. The light continued to call him, bringing him closer. His hoofed back legs clicked on the ground. Tears raced from his purple eyes, streaming out behind him.

Right as he reached the portal of light, a figure appeared, blocking his way. No!... He slid to a stop. The figure was a dragon. With powerful legs and wings, covered in purple and black scales, green eyes burning like dying embers. With a flick of it's tail, the dragon had the creature stopped in his tracks, unable to move.

"Why do you toy with me?!" The creature growled, flicking his twin tails, "I have done all you asked!"

The dragon shook it's mighty head, "You have not changed." The beast sighed, "It is my duty as a god to judge those who have passed." The purple and black scaled dragon circled the frozen creature, "You know I cannot let you pass into Eternal Peace until you fulfill your destiny."

The creature growled, baring sharp, dagger-like teeth, "You have done this more than 300 times, Aradon. I am done with your so called "destiny"! I want to die! I want to be at peace! Why must I do this?!"

The dragon god, Aradon, sighed once more, blowing black smoke from it's snout, "I am sorry, friend, but I must send you back again." The dragon leaned towards the creature, who was sobbing, "If you change in this life, you will be at peace. Change, Revixit. Change..." 

The dragon touched his snout to Revixit's head, Revixit cried out in pain, before silence.
