There's an undeniable attraction when a happy-go-lucky writer and an uptight, grumpy writer are tasked to test out the theory of an article where the winner takes it all.

Sunshine—Sunny—Hope Devons is just as her name says; full of life, likes everything and everyone, brings light wherever she goes, and is all about freedom thanks to her hippie parents. Writing has always been a dream come true, especially for a popular online and print publication like Rogue.

So, when she finally stumbles across a '90s article about how women could get a husband, she decides to turn it into an article about how far women have come from the sexist days. But, there was just one thing, or more specifically, person standing in the way of her big break: the grumpy bastard who hates her guts, and she dislikes with equal measure.

Homer Carson may be a great writer with great bedside manners, but that doesn't mean his patience extends to anyone who wears loud, colorful clothing's, bangles that causes ruckus during his quiet time, believes tarot card readings, auras and fates, and that weed smoking during lunch breaks isn't illegal. And especially not someone who is also standing in his way of finally owning his own column at last.

However, when the both of them are given three weeks to test out their stories on each other where whoever has more online voters gets their own column, both of them realizes that there's more at stake other than the coveted column.

Two enemies. Two damned list. Love is the last thing they need...

AUTHOR'S NOTE

30 Ways To Get A Husband is inspired by an article a friend of mine shared with me. The article is called: 129 Ways to get a husband'. And believe me when I say it's every bit as ridiculous as it sounds. 

Then, the idea of writing a character where the female lead is all about all things vintage and classic, and the male lead is firmly rooted in the present is quiet honestly appealing.

To my readers, earliest and present, thank you for giving this book a chance even though it's a change of pace from what I usually write.

This book is also set in a fictional city called Sunset Bay in Southern California.
