Prologue
He couldn't help but feel curious in her presence.
"This is Aria, a new student. Treat her well," is all the teacher had said.
The boys interest perked by the girl's unique hair colour. Her shining, dark-scarlet, short hair bounced as she took every step. If you didn't look close, you would've seen a dark-brown. That wasn't the odd thing though. She skipped with every step and a huge - bright - smile plastered on her face. It interested him.
As every second past his interest grew. The girl took her seat next to him. His smile never faltered; in fact, he held confidence in the smile. It almost resembled a smirk.
He watched her in amusement as his chin stayed rested on his hand. Elbow placed on the desk.
"Hi, my name is Eli Straus and you are?" He asked. She was reluctant to face her left side. Nonetheless, she had turned to face this 'Eli'.
She frowned.
"The teacher just mentioned my name. What do you mean, 'and you are'?" She asked nervously.
"Oh, I must of forgotten. Would you remind me?" He said. His tone seemed innocent and guilty at the same time. Most likely messing around. It made her smile at how he acted. It was genuine. He couldn't help but stare and he felt an odd stir in his stomach. An odd gut feeling. Was he excited?
"I'm Aria," she introduced, averting her gaze to the teacher. Her small smile grew into a brighter one, but there was a hint of shyness.

He stared at the door, hidden in the shadows made by the shade. He had all the patience in the world. Finally, a teenage girl walked out of the very room he had been staring at.
A sudden smirk full of misdeeds was plastered on his face. There you are.
He watched her interaction with the other peers her gender. He heard her gossiping over others, which was one of the usual topics of discussion in her group.
How much they've change and drifted apart was beyond his control. He didn't even care for the drift all he wanted now was nothing but revenge.
