26: At what stage of editing/writing are you?

Inner Demon

The story itself is done. I started writing this story around 2005, so it’s been edited about a handful of times. 2005. Damn. Took me that long. O___O Anyways, it is in need of a HUGE overhaul. Implementing proper POVs in the chapters is going to shuffle some events around and take out others from the story. The main bulk and plot points of it will be there, of course, but the scenes that take the reader there may be different. I don’t plan on changing any characters or character personalities though.

Act of a Demon

The story is done too. Yay! It is a first draft and has only been minimally touched, mostly for typos before I upload it. Didn’t really help much but whatever. Half of it needs more revision than the other, I think, ‘cause the first half doesn’t have a set POV while the rest does.

I don’t think AoaD will have as much of a drastic change as ID in revisions ‘cause I feel my writing is stronger in this book, and the chapter with established POVs will be easier to revise, I think.

Calathus 

It is still being written. Early stages of writing to be exact. The only editing I do is reading it over before I revise it for minimal stuff like grammar and typos and maybe a bit scene switching or sentence deleting or adding…but that’s pretty much it.
