2: Genre(s) of story explained in detail

Ugh. Genres are so…flexible and can vary in definition from person to person but here goes.

Well…ID is labeled as a fantasy romance BUT I consider it more supernatural than fantasy. Wattpad does not have a supernatural genre tab. WHY NOT? Seriously. I thought that was so stupid. Supernatural is where all the demons and angels and vampires and werewolves and stuff like that goes! For me at least. But whatever. This isn’t a rant.

Fantasy *cough*supernatural*cough* ‘cause of the demons and Magicka and what not. You know. The stuff that doesn’t happen in real life. Or maybe it does?

Romance ‘cause Reyna, Mundus, and Dante’s love triangle is pretty prominent in this story. Though I do feel like that takes a backseat about halfway through it.

It also has an action genre tag ‘cause there are fight scenes! Wooo! I’m getting better at writing them, especially considering this story held my first ever fight scene.

Act of a Demon

Again, the main genre is supernatural, but it’s labeled as fantasy. Again ‘cause of the demons and all that jazz. The other main tag it has is paranormal if I remember correctly. Now that I think about it, I don’t know why…

There is action in this story too. More than ID I think since there are more fight scenes and the plot gets going a bit more than the previous one.

Romance is also noted here, but it is not as present as it was in ID. There is still enough emotional turmoil between characters for the romance genre to be mentioned, of course.

Calathus

It is mainly tagged as fantasy and adventure. Now, this type of story holds my definition of fantasy. It has magick and beasts and knight—like warriors and enchanted armor and weapons. You know. The good stuff. It may not be a classical or epic fantasy, but I feel it is more fantasy than The Dark Bloods Trilogy.

So, adventure ‘cause *mini–spoiler* Sianna has to leave Jabel at some point, right? Right?

I also added the action and romance subgenres because there is…well…action. There is going to be fight scenes and stuff of the action–y sort, and I also plan on adding some romance in it. I won’t say anymore on that. Aaaaaand cue the evil laughter.
