17: Explain the main plot

Possible *SPOILERS* if not caught up with the stories.

Inner Demon

Reyna wakes up to find a demon’s soul has awakened in her body. His name is Mundus and he’s sassy and grumpy but also hot, so Reyna finds herself attracted to him even though she has a boyfriend. Terrible.

Mundus gets to “use” her body at night, morphing it into his own ‘cause he gets power from the moon. Crazy stuff happens like them finding his old sword, Mundus almost crashing her birthday party…things like that.

Later on, her creepy uncle Amon moves in. At first he tries to kill her but then decides to help her with the powers she has and to help them figure out how to get Mundus’ body back ‘cause it turns out the main villain that’s unleashing demons in Reyna’s hometown is none other than her brother, Ram. *gasp*

In the demon world, more demons pop out, including the king and queen of demons, Auronmar and Blethinette, and it turns out they are in a civil war. Oh and Mundus is their son. Crazy. They find his body and when they return to the human world, they find it in ashes and Dante and Amon were protecting some human survivors.

In the end, Ram is beaten but he was just a pawn in Blethinette’s plan to take over the human world. Mundus chooses to side with Blethinette and leaves Reyna alone. *more gasps*

Act of a Demon

Reyna and Dante have been staying in Auronmar’s castle and have been training with Gahn in mastering their powers. Within the chaos and grave situation of the civil war, there is still the emotional drama between Mundus, Dante, and Reyna.

Eventually, Mundus, Erian, and Cerus find Auronmar’s fortress and there is a battle between the three demons and Reyna, Dante, and Gahn. The king ends up giving himself up and Reyna and the others run to bump into Verden, Mundus’ older brother. *epic gasp*

Through him, Reyna and Dante see there are still other humans alive and they decide to stay with him to protect them while Auronmar and Gahn set off on their own agendas. Reyna and Dante visit the human world and bring back some more human survivors. There is some sense of happiness being at House Verden (yay) but it’s broken (aww) when Mundus leads Reyna into the Aqua Oscura fountain where he offers her the opportunity to have the Dark Bloods power and be a demon by his side but Reyna refuses.

Blethinette finds Verden’s house and kills some of the humans there and breaks the balance her Shadow Spirit had been warning her not to break. Reyna and the others find themselves in some white room where they are told about the balance between the human and demon worlds while Blethinette and Auronmar are still in demon world, fighting.

Calathus

We’re not too much into the plot. All that’s happened so far is Sianna is a Centurio in the Guard of Kingdom Dracarr. She has been promoted to Leitnant and will receive a Rhokin of her own, something she does not want. Rhokins are creepy to her even though they are the main weapon against the Magus and their magick that threatens the kingdom.  

Shortly after she gets her Rhokin, there is a huge Magus invasion in her stationed town and most of the townspeople die. Sianna and her Leitnant, along with their Rhokins, set off to The Silent Chapel to rest up before they head to see the Dux to report the increased Magus activity in their region and the destruction of their town. Yup.
