Dear K,

I chose to write to you today, because you and I used to always write each other mails.  I'm pretty sure I have them all saved in a folder somewhere too, I should dig them up and reread them for those moments we spent together.  You're also one of the very few childhood friends I've reconnected with on Facebook. 

All of our communication has shown me that even today, you are still someone I would be (and am) happy to call a friend.  You're smart, ambitious, sweet, and generally you seem to have great energy!  I hope we can make time to meet up and hang out someday, catch up and be friends again in real life instead of just online.
