Okay people, do not kill me, but I just realised the challenge I completed for day 22 was supposed to be today's challenge -_-' I am so dumb. I will exchange the challenges once the book is complete, if that's alright. Sorry if this confused or became inconvenient for any of you...
DAY 23: Write about today
I'll write about yesterday since it is 7 in the morning and there has been nothing happening, unless you would like to know the way I breathed while getting out of bed. So, here's what I did yesterday:
I woke up (wow! Amazing I know!), went downstairs to go watch TV with my sister. We started watching this movie called "Feel the Beat". I didn't eat breakfast, but I do that a lot so it's alright.
Now come the more interesting parts of my day.
We planned to go to this park (with a waterpark inside), and my grandmother took us there. It was a 19 minute drive, and we were at one minute from the destination, when BAM! some stupid car bumped into us and we were now in a minor car accident. I'm going to tell you exactly what happened so that you know that it was not our fault.
We were driving on the lane at the very right, we were driving straight ahead. Then, out of the blue, behind us on the lane on our left, a car starts driving towards us, it was trying to either get into our lane (which it did horribly) or it was trying to go through our car. AND OUR CAR WASN'T INVISIBLE SO I DO NOT SEE WHY IT FREAKING DID THAT. And then the front of that car just hit the side of ours, and voila, I was officially in my second car accident this year (that's a story for another time).
Either way, our damage was so much worse than theirs. They called their insurance guy and tried to prove (I have no clue how) that it wasn't their fault. Obviously enough, we told our story with evidence (of two witnesses: my sister and I) and in the end, we came up the conclusion that they were at fault and they would pay for the damage of both cars. This is very long talking about a car accident, oh but trust me, this took an hour or more to be solved.
Now we're done talking about car accidents, so, NEXT.
We finally arrived at the park, when another dramatical thing settles in: my sister starts claiming and complaining that this isn't the right waterpark. And she has every reason to believe it: the logo is different, the entrance is different, the rides look newer. It takes me a solid half hour to make her understand that this is in fact the park and it was renovated. After this, we ate at the only restaurant there was in this huge park. We all ordered the same thing: fried rice with prawns.
My sister and I then went on a ride called Log Flume which was still an amazing ride. Especially when you fall and your heart is like about to have a heart attack and leap put of your chest. It's the most exciting yet unpleasant feeling; I can't explain it. Afterwards, we went on the Giant Drop which is like when you are brought to the top of this tower and they drop you (you're in some kind of chair) and wow your heart is like dying but it's so awesome!
It was enough for rides since my grandmother was skeptical about the extreme ones. Anyways, we then went to the waterpark part of the park. We played on slides and more slides and more slides and went on a trip around the lazy river (you know, there's some kind of current and you just let yourself be moved?) and more slides. After that we went to the wavepool. Now I must say something: the wavepool in this park actually won the Guinness World Record for biggest wavepool in the world!!! That's amazing in my opinion.
Either way, we played there a bit, then went back to my grandmother, when, haha, new drama: she lost her sunglasses. Great just great. We then follow our footsteps and never find them. We give up, go to the car and in the car are her sunglasses. Wow. So much time wasted searching for something.
Anyways, we finally went back home, I took a long shower (to clean out all that chlorine), finished yesterday's daily challenge, and we ate dinner: ribs and sticky rice. Which was beyond delicious. For my own guilty pleasure I ate half a coffee ice-cream bucket (I promise you that I don't usually do this, but I couldn't help myself yesterday and I love coffee ice-cream with all my heart). After all of that, I went to brush my teeth, put on my pyjamas (basically an oversized shirt) and went to watch TV with my sister. We finished "Feel the Beat" and started watching "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (I've never watched it lmao). At 9:30 (must I add "pm"?) sharp we went to bed and I just woke up at 7 and gonna go downstairs to finish "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", so that's a wrap for day 23, and again, sorry for that mix up...
Hope you all have a nice day :)
