Day 17: Your Favorite Memory
But I have more than one! I'll just do my favorite every three years or something. Yeah that works.
1-3: This one time in the summer, before my brother was born. Everything was green, so me and my dad were sitting outside on our porch. We were eating apples, and my dad was telling me a story. It was hot out, and I wanted to go inside, but my dad didn't let me because my mom was making lunch and he didn't want to bother her. And after a while we went inside and ate grilled cheese sandwiches in the air conditioning.
4-6: The beach. Going to the outer banks with my family and our cousins. The house we stayed at had a sort of stairwell, and me and the boys (my brother and cousins) took all of the pillows from the couch and threw them down and made a giant fort on the landing. (The only reason we took it apart was so that we could watch Finding Nemo on the couch).
7-9: The bus ride home from school. specifically the part where I stood up and pretended I was surfing at the bumpy parts, and made faces at the bus patrols when they told me to stop. Other than that, I mostly read, or drew on the windows when it rained. I always carried my brother's backpack home when he dropped it.
10-12: Hershey Park trip in fifth grade, when the choir and band/orchestra spent half the day in the bus and the other half at the park. That was the trip with the awesome super-speed-spinning-conveyer-belt ride, and the one where all of my friends got weird theme songs written (and sung) about them. It was the trip where we ate an unnatural amount of ice cream, and I learned how to blow bubbles in bubble gum at 11 pm on the bus ride home. That was a good trip.
13-15(?): The last day of school on seventh grade, because all of the kids got free time, cookies with bright colored frosting, and ice cold water bottles. By the end of the day, I had a million pictures of my friends with red and blue tongues. Also by the end of the day, the water fight incident had happened, because (refer to best friend page for code names) Yoda decided to pour water on me and Scar. Naturally, we ran away, and a bunch of water got spilled in the hallway. Cue Vampire walking over and falling on her butt because of the water. Needless to say, Yoda, Scar, and I learned our lesson while mopping up the seventh grade hall.
These memories are a bit random really. I'm not entirely sure why I picked them. But I like them. They make me happy. How could I pick just one?
