Day 1: Introduce Yourself
Hi! My name is Chloe. Some of my friends call me Clover. Some of my friends call me other things, but those other friends are idiots, so...Anyway. I like to draw and paint. I also like to sing, but don't let me near an instrument, or you will regret it. And obviously, I LOVE reading and writing.
I have been called short by many people. This is not true. I am actually a perfectly average height, it just so happens that everyone I've ever met in my life is ridiculously tall. Talk about bad luck! Let's see. My hair is brown. My eyes are brown. My skin is...light brown. I am not very colorful. Actually, scratch that, because almost everything I own is rainbow. Rainbows are awesome! I did my science project on rainbows... But I digress. (I love saying that.)
I am an eighth grader, and I go to a school (not saying where, internet). I have lots of amazing friends. My grades are pretty good. I'm really lucky! I have a little brother. He is absolutely insane, but I am too, so that's okay. I have two parents, and they are the best parents ever in the history of the universe! I also have a fish. Well, technically, he's my brother's fish. We've had him for a year, and frankly I'm astonished that he is not dead. Also, for the first seven months I thought he was a girl, but honestly, it's a fish. Who cares? (Sorry, Blue!)
Okay, what else? I'm not really that interesting. I take acting lessons with one of my best friends on Saturdays. I've been a girl scout for nine years (including this year). Oh! I'm in honors chorus. I'm taking French this year.
I really like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Wings of Fire, Maximum Ride, etc. Your basic fantasy books. I also love cartoons, like Gravity Falls, and shows like Once Upon a Time and Doctor Who. Yes, I am a total nerd. Deal with it.
I wear glasses. I have been wearing them since second grade, and it's been so long my face looks weird without them. Well, to me at least. I also wear hearing aids. Yes, I can hear you, and no, you don't need to shout in my ear. When I was really little, I earned myself extremely mild hearing loss when the sensory hairs in the auditory tube behind my tympanic membrane got damaged. Fun, I know. My teachers also use a microphone system, which is SUCH A PAIN to drag from class to class, especially for a disorganized person such as myself. Luckily, my friend usually remembers it for me. Huh. I just realized that I'm at the bottom of the page and I never described my personality! Darn it! But I guess you probably have an idea from the way you write. Oh well. See you tomorrow!
