Day 8: Share something you struggle with

I used to struggle with severe depression but I overcame that! It's not impossible :) Remember to always keep your head up otherwise you'll never see the colorful good things in front of you!

But anyways... I now struggle with social anxiety. It used to be really bad but now I can go out in public with a friend without feeling shy! But... I can't talk to really anyone new. It's kinda tough because I want to make more friends but it's hard because I'm so shy and they look of me weird...

I guess I've been like this for a while, it never really changed until now. It's actually getting a lot easier to go out in public because I go to group therapy! I'm trying to get into public high school because online schools are careless... It was my choice to go to public high school actually. My old therapist suggested it and listed really good reasons. I can't remember what they were, though. :\

So, if I had to say something to people struggling with this, I would suggest going to group therapy. Even if you're the shyest person in the world, I can say it does help 100%. Plus, if it makes you feel better, they won't judge you. I promise. Therapy really does help with everything and anyone who hasn't tried it, should at least give it a chance.
