1. Let me get to know you and get to know me. Know I want to be friends and get to know you before dating you. I don't want to date someone who's just going to use me. You'll have to be willing to wait to be with me.

5. I feel this is the most important. Stand up for me. No matter what. If your friends make fun of me, stand up for me. If we get together after the process, stand up for me to your friends. If we get together then break up (but on good terms), don't sit there in laugh with them. Stand up for me because I know that's what I would do.
