How do you feel about scars?

Uhm...I don't know.  Sometimes they're embarrassing, but sometimes they're comforting. They remind me of what I am. So that I won't forget...they remind me I am still here though. They remind me that I haven't given up. That I'm not weak. If that makes any sense.
