Palette's pov

Every since Mum (ink) went on maternity leave I'm the fill in art teacher and it is AMAZING!!! I'm heading to the library to find books to give the class inspiration, Mum said it will help.

I opened the door and saw a few kids in here. I walked to the bookshelves and started to pick and choose on the best books.

I found a lot on mandalas(?), pop art, street art, morals, watercolours, pastels, chalk, painting, landscapes and a whole lot more. I was holding a whole bunch of them.
"I think that will do" I said to my self I couldn't exactly see where I was going so I had my head to the side. I walked towards the desk when I bumped into someone; all the books I was holding tumbled and I fell down.
"Ow" I said when I hit the ground.
"Ow" I said again when a book decided to fall on my head. I looked passed the scattered books and I saw a lady rubbing her head.

"I am SO sorry" I said. I quickly got up to my feet and offered her my hand, she hesitantly grabbed it and I helped her up.
"I'm Palette, palette roller"
She shock my hand and said
"I'm lotus, let me help you with these"

She started picking them up and I helped. We managed to pick them all up and sit them on the desk.
"Okay, I'll grab some boxes" I said, she nodded and I walked off. There's a cupboard near the desk and I opened it and grabbed two boxes and moved them back next to the desk. She already started scanning them so I put them in the boxes and tried to stack them neatly in.
"Thank you for the help" I said. "No probs"

The bell ring but I'm not in a rush, I don't have a class now so it's all good. Students left as we continued to finish these books. "So what are you" lotus asked. "I'm the fill in art teacher"
"Yeah, she went on maternity leave"
"Yeah. I can't wait for my step-sibling to be born" I said as my eyes had huge starts in them from excitement.
"W-wait, that's your step mum?"
"No, she's my real mum"
"That's pretty cool"
"I know right!"

She scanned the last book as I placed it into the box. "Tha-" she was cut off.

She stood there shocked as if she's seen a ghost.
"Hey are you Alright?!" I waved my hand in front of her, trying to get her attention.
"Lotus" I asked concerned

She shock her head.
"Umm, sorry. I just thought about something"
"What about"
"It doesn't matter, do want help taking this the your class" she said pointing to the boxes.
"Yeah, if you don't mind"

I picked up the box with a lot more in it. I headed for the door, lotus right by me.

Goths' pov

When me and orion got to our parking space in the building I got out and helped Orion out. He put his bag over his shoulders as we walked the huge flight of stairs. These stairs need to be replaced but they are fine for now. I grabbed the keys out and opened the door to our apartment, it was I big-ish apartment. 3bedrooms and 1 bath, but it's home for now.

Orion dropped his bag at the door and ran to the lounge room. I smelt something delicious so I walked into the kitchen. Once I was in there I was greeted by Cleo. She just put a lid over a pot.
"What are you making??" I ask
"Food"
"Can you be a bit more specific"
"I'm making soup"
"Yumm" I said.

I sat on a counter as she filled up a sink and I started to speak again.
"We have a problem"
"What is it??"
"Do you know where we are"
"In the kitchen"
"No, as in town!"
"Ebbot ville"
"Close, this is where I grew up"
Her eyes started to sparkle and then she asked.
"How do you know?? I thought you forgot that"
"I was working when all of a sudden the fill in art teacher came in and you'll never guess who it is"
"Wh-"
"My boyfriend before I decided to up and leave, PALETTE."
"Well, we can trade down your parents and you can meet th-"
"There's no use they're probably still made at me, forgot about me or even replaced me"
"There's noway they can for get you, maybe this is what you need" "look, I don't want to face what they have to say. They would probably just start yelling at me!"
"True, but we won't find out until we do"

I was quiet because I was thinking.

"How about this" Cleo started
"It's almost been 12 years since you ran away, it will be exactly 12 years this Friday. So if we find them before then we can surprise them"
"But what if-"
"Remember goth, I will be right with you"
"Do you think they might have seen me but as 'lotus'??"
"Maybe, but what do you say??"
"Fine... lets start looking, after dinner because that smells really good" I said pointing to the soup.

"Fine, but you two showed up and ill have it served up, sounds good"
I nodded as I walked up to my room to grab my pj's and then went into the bathroom to shower up. I also told Orion to get ready for one, so after I'm done he can hop in.
