Gray's pov

I pulled up in my driveway; swifty, sprinkles, Xahji and I went to a shopping arcade. (I'm pretty sure Americans call it a mall, tbh I have no clue) to buy costumes for Halloween.

I opened the door to find the my parents in the living room, cil baking something and cray is skating on her skateboard on the hallway that the stairs reach to. "Let's go to my room" I suggested. We all nod, we bring our bags up the stairs and into my room.

(Think of it as if you walked in and turned 180 degrees)

We place our stuff on the ground beside the couch and we look through what we got.

(Green = gray)
(Blue = swifty)
(Red = sprinkles)
(Purple = Xahji)

I placed them all in my closet because we're getting ready here and going to the party together, i cAN'T WAIT! That's besides the point, everyone will leave soon because it's a school night. We all sit on the couches and talk.

"Guys, let's hook swifty and G up" Xahji says. We all look at swifty with a smirk and she pulls her hat over her face. "Oh come on" sprinkles says. "Yeah, what if w-" I was cut off by a phone buzzing. We look towards swifty and she looks at it and says, "mums out the front, we'll talk on the the group chat later?" We nodded and gave a hug to her and we said goodbye to her as she left. We were gonna walk back when I heard "GRAY!!" I ran up the stairs and went towards of the source of the sound, which was the nursery.

I opened the door and see cray with powder all over her. I giggled and say "what happened to you" she shrugged and said "I was just putting there pj's on" she said. I walked over to them and put there clothes on with ease. "Go take a shower" I say to cray as I pick up hope. (the one with holo hair) sprinkles and Xahji walk in and instantly sprinkles grabbed hacker. "Awww~ they're so cute" "just wait till they grow up and start annoying you" Xahji said. She has a huge family.

I nurse hope and sway side by side ,(this makes me cringe because my cousin did this and ended up breaking he knee) her eyes flutter close and then I placed her back in her crib, sprinkles doing the same. We high fives and we heard two phones go off. "OooO, fury is taking me on a date" sprinkles says. She hugs us and leaves and we all say goodbye. "Dad texted saying he'll be here soon" I nod. "You do realise it's gonna take forever to leave cause the adults will be mingling." I say with a chuckle and we both giggled. We walked out of the room and closed the door behind us.

I'm cleaning off the table because it's my night to do so. It's odd, pj still hasn't came home and I'm beginning to worry. I packed the rest off the plates in the dishwasher and start it when I hear the door open and slam shut.

I walk out of the kitchen and it's "pj, where have you been" mum asked, she wasn't mad she just wanted to know, "don't want to talk about it" and he walked straight to his room. I placed my washing up rag on the chair and walked towards lounge room. I can't help but to feel like something is drastically wrong. I start walking up the steps and knock on his door. "Pj, are yo-" I was cut off by "leave me alone" his voice crackling and low.

I stepped back and walked into my room. I grabbed my laptop from my bed and opened up Skype. I clicked on pj's profile and started messaging, hoping he will answer.

After waiting for 30mins for him to respond I'm completely worried. I closed my laptop and take it with me. I open my closet door and walk in. Mine and pj's closets are connected but we do have a wall between them.

I summoned a bone and started prying at the wall. "C'mon wall, go away" I said with a whisper, then all of a sudden the wall completely disappeared. I fell forwards but kept going on my mission. I open up the wardrobe door and walked in to find the whole room empty. I looked around and noticed the window was open. I walked towards it and climbed out of it and started walking up. Up the top there's a flat spot where pj and I but some chairs, fairy lights and blankets around. It was our hangout. I walked over to it and there, sure enough, is pj. I walked closer to him and instantly fell back. I was hit with a crazy vision but then realised it was his thoughts.

"My baby girl... gone"
"Our baby girl"

"Wait- is someone there"

He looked over at me and he had tears down his face. So did I. I walked over to him and hugged him. He hugged back. He placed a blanket on us and we sat in silence. We let go and I sat beside him and put my head on his shoulder. "So... fresh had a-" I was cut of by him saying "miscarriage... yeah"

"Hey, don't cry. Don't think of it as a dead end... think of it as an experience. You can learn from this. Whatever happened to course this you can figure it out and know for next time. Or maybe you need a surrogate." I said.

He looked at me and smiled. "You know how to cheer me up" I giggled and said. "You know how nightmare was talking about the multiverse and all of that shit" I said. "Hmm" He said in response, understanding what I'm talking about. "Well apparently mum created them" I said and he started coughing. "You can't be serious" "not even joking, she called the creator and he said the destroyer is coming in tomorrow"

"Sounds fun" he said. We lied down and looked at the stars and I slowly drifted off to sleep.
