Day 24 - Your favorite movie and what it's about.

I love the movie The Labyrinth (1986) but I also have a huge fondness for Howl's Moving Castle (2004)!

This WILL contain spoilers, so I would really recommend watching the movie first if you enjoy fantasy movies and even THINK you might enjoy watching a fantasy/adventure/dark humor movie about fae creatures and odd adventures.

Labyrinth is about a young teen girl who wants to be an actress like her mom but feels that her step-mom is trying to hold her back. One night while babysitting her baby half-brother, she wishes him away into the clutches of the Goblin King (played by David Bowie).

He made for a grand goblin king and the makeup artists did great on making him look the part! I know the movie isn't the newest of movies but I still enjoy watching it from time to time!

In the show, the foolish wish-making girl ends up having to partake in a long journey to save her little brother and make things right again. She only has until the clock strikes 13 (yes, 13 because they are in fae lands now!) to save the little boy or he will be turned into a goblin! In the process, she makes new friends. Jareth is very jealous and rather obsessed with her (yandere hints anyone?) and tends to spy on her from his distant castle as he makes things harder for her.

She even gets to dance with Jareth the Goblin King after losing her memories for a time. He sings to her while they dance! (He sounds so good singing it!)

In the end, she confronts him at his castle and has to follow him through impossible rooms but rescues her baby brother.

I would explain Howl's Moving Castle too, but that would just be too much for me after writing this and finishing the Len oneshot.
