Day 25 - Someone who fascinates you and why.

I don't know about fascinating me, but I do have a high level of respect for my aunt. She has been through so much in her life and still walks around with a smile on her face. She went through years in a verbally and emotionally abusive relationship and after the guy passed away due to an alcoholic coma, she still managed to move forward in her life. She loved the guy and his death hurt her, but she didn't stop living because of it. She got up each morning and went out and faced the world. Ultimately she found love with another guy and now they are married with kids (something she always wanted), living the life I think she always deserved to have.

She has the patience of a saint and the heart to go with it, giving so much to others without really expecting anything (although always beaming a smile out when she gets something as small as a simple thank you in return) and always wishing for the best for those around her. She has done so much for those she loves and even those she barely knows, she is a real blessing in this world that has so few people like her left. I can only hope that someday I can be even half the amazing person I see her to be.
