Void: I suppose in recent memory, a book I love would have to be Healing What Has Been Broken by harrish6 because that's where I found and fell in love with the idea of a Forced God Of Destruction Error, and well. 

Void: Yea. 

Void: I'm sure there are other books I could mention, but that book was kinda the one to kick off my FGOD fascination and thus it's kinda special.

Void: If it could include one of MY books, then honestly I like The College And The Nine, which is kinda something that needed to be read and experienced. Not too many people paid attention to it, and it suffered and it sucked to have such a massive personal project fall flat. I burned myself out on liking it because I worked hard to finish it asap so I could be done and move on to Undertale stuff because that's the niche I carved.

Void: It sucks that I couldn't give it the love and attention it deserved, but I can see when projects of mine aren't getting attention from others, and I stop liking them or finding enjoyment in them because I seek outside validation to reaffirm that I'm good and that people want me around. If I do something, and people don't reaffirm that they like it and they want more, then why continue to do it? It's just a waste of time and space and horrible trash that doesn't deserve to exist because others deem it so.

Void: This may all seem mean or negative, but that's just how my brain and emotions work. I rely on outside validation to reaffirm the value of my existence. Think Zuko relying on Ozai (ATLA) for validation of his honor. Same, except outside validation is necessary to reaffirm that my existence is required and loved.

Void: Just how I've come to perceive and understand the world.

Void: I will be and have been trying to change this nasty perception, but for the time being, yea, that's how I work.

Void: Huh. "A Book I Love" turned into "And That's Why I Write Undertale and Post Undertale Content."

Void: Does anyone else do this? Or is this a me thing?
