a/n sorry for lack of updates >.<

Percy was the first to wake up from the whole being hit by a spell thing. Something had happened it was like Harry had been given a boost in his magical ability and that seemingly was able to affect Percy and Danny. Percy made sure of a few things once waking up.

He was still in his body, which was a good thing in his opinion.

There were no voices in his head apart from his own, if there were that would have made him find Piper and have her fix it.

All in all, things seemed to be normal until he noticed something. He wasn't on the ground.

"What the Hades!" he exclaimed and he started flailing about in a vain effort to get down.

Danny started to stir. He sat up and rubbed his eye from slight drowsiness.

"What? What happened? Percy? Are you alright?" he said not noticing Percy floating several feet above him.

"Danny I'm up here!"

Danny looked up and saw Percy floating above him.

"A little help please?"

"How the heck did you get up there?"

"Does it matter? GET ME DOWN!"

"Fine I'm coming up." said Danny and he willed for the ring to appear to change him into Phantom, only they never came.

Ok that's odd... But I have to help Percy so that can wait, thought Danny.

"Uh Percy?"

"Danny, GET ME DOWN! I DO NOT LIKE TO BE OFF THE GROUND UNLESS ON A PEGASUS!"

"Percy I have a small problem..."

"Danny, I HAVE A PROBLEM TOO BY JUST BEING OFF THE GROUND!"

"I don't feel my powers."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T FEEL YOUR POWERS?"

"Wait... That spell Harry cast! That has to be the cause of it."

"NO DIP SHERLOCK! BUT CAN YOU PLEASE GET ME DOWN!"

"Ok ok, calm down." said Danny who put out his arm for Percy to grab so he could pull him back to the ground.

That would have worked except,

when Percy grabbed Danny's arm, his hand turned intangible and he floated up a few more feet just out of Danny's reach.

"Ok, that spell must've down something much more serious than take my powers away."

"YOU ALREADY SAID THAT!"

"What if the spell gave you my powers and gave me yours!?"

"Well then, go and try to control the water or something but what about Harry, wasn't he hit by the spell too?"

"Good point, but I might as well see if I got yours."

"Danny, DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME UP HERE!"

Danny looked toward the lake they were next too and tried to control the water in the lake.

Nothing Happened.

"So if I didn't get your powers then I guess I got Harry's."

"THAT'S COOL AND ALL BUT CAN YOU GET ME DOWN! Oh and I think Harry's waking up."

Danny looked over at his older cousin who was starting to wake.

"What? What happened?"

Danny was about to explain, but before he could Percy started yelling... Again.

"Harry, good you're up. NOW CAN YOU HELP DANNY GET ME DOWN!"

Harry looked up at Percy and then to Danny.

"Danny, what's going on? Why is Percy floating?!"

Danny looked at Harry as calmly as he could and explained the situation as calmly as possible. After he was done Harry looked shocked.

"So you're saying that the switching spell I fired earlier backfired onto us and switched my magic, your ghost powers, and Percy's powers?"

"Yep."

"So that's why Percy's floating."

"NO DIP SHERLOCK, NOW PLEASE GET ME DOWN!" exclaimed Percy who was still flailing about trying to get down.

Danny and Harry then decided that the next thing to do was to get Percy down as he was yelling, yelling REALLY LOUDLY. Getting him down on the ground was a long story in of itself that involved a tree, more of Percy's yelling, and a few bruises on all of them. Once he was down he held on to a tree like it was the only thing keeping him from floating off again, which it most likely was. Each of them had their own questions as to how this all had happened and what to do next. But one question had stayed in their minds.

Was the spell permanent?
