Daisuke was one of the first to be picked up by Chiyoko, yes picked up, just like an abandoned animal.

He was actually a scientifically created hybrid before he met Chiyoko, so calling him an animal wasn't far from the mark. He was constantly experimented on for what the scientists called "the better knowledge of humanity", but Daisuke didn't much care, he wanted it to stop. wanted the horror of having his body poked, prodded, and tested on daily to stop. So he stopped it.

In a murderous rampage Daisuke killed all of the scientists and ran away from the lab that he was held in for most all of his life. It was raining, his black wings were soaked so he couldn't fly away, and he had sustained injuries from the scientists trying (but failing) to fight back. His dragon like horns cracked, and his cat like tail swaying as he walked to help him keep his balance.

When he thought he was far enough away, in the clearing of a forest with the moon shining it's brightest, casting a glow on the trees and flowers that adorned the clearing, he fell. He fell, and was about to close his eyes until he heard a noise. When he looked with weary eyes at what he had heard his eyes widened when he saw a beautiful young woman walk out into the clearing. She had hair as white as snow, and eyes the color of the night sky, a mix of dark blues and purples that glowed in the moonlight. {sorry i'm kind-of a romantic}

When the girl finally looked at Daisuke he shuddered, what would this beautiful creature feel towards a beast covered in the blood of others, with appendages that most shouldn't have?

His answer was instantly answered when the beautiful young woman gave him the most wonderful, yet oddly enough, creepy smile he had ever seen. (honestly her smile creeped him out more than the scientists did)

Against his better judgement (which told him to run like hell away), he sprang after her in an instinctive fury, but he was instantly stopped by one of the woman's fingers. Her eyes than softened a bit, making her less creepy, and she looked at him with "empathy". Not "pity", "fear", or "sympathy", no nothing as soft as those, it was like she knew exactly what he feared and feared it with him.

And when she opened her mouth, her voice sounding like silk to his ears, she asked the one question that shocked him, amused him, and would change his life forever. "Do you want my name?"

Years later, and more headaches than medication can deal with, he still doesn't regret his decision. However now, he does wish she didn't have a habit of picking up strays from almost every world she visited.

Hotaru, another stray pick up, was enough of an annoyance. Always trying to copy Chiyoko down to the clothes she wore. Daisuke was just lucky enough that Hotaru wasn't able to shape shift as well as the others, or he'd be having even more headaches.

Ayame and Airi were always pulling pranks on everyone when Chiyoko wasn't looking or when she was away, what bugged him the most was when they actually managed to get Chiyoko involved and it turned into a free for all prank war for a week.

Daisuke thought of Kaito not like a rebel, but more of a tsundere. He knew she wanted to get closer but with her pride and personality that could easily get her into one fight after another, he knew it wouldn't be easy for her.

And last but not least was Arata, the newest addition to this dis-functional family. Chiyoko had picked her up and brought her home and she immediately spat it in her face. Complaining that she shouldn't let strangers into her home so easily, and that she would regret her decision just like anyone else that had taken her in. Chiyoko, whose temperament even Daisuke still couldn't figure out after so many years of being with her, just smiled and thanked Arata for her concern and then said that she tries not to make choices she will regret in the future. (something about hearing it out of a midgets mouth?)

This seemed to shut Arata up for awhile but it later became apparent that she was a 5 year old trapped in a 20 year old body.

NOW, Daisuke had to deal with Arata stealing Chiyoko's keys and a missing Kaito, who he assumed went after Arata....

Of course Daisuke, being first gaurdian and the closest to Chiyoko, was given the handy ability to shut off the keys powers.... Chiyoko said it was for a "just in case" emergency but when the twins told her what had happened she looked like she was about to go to an amusement park..... 

Daisuke was gonna have some trouble to deal with in the near future....
