Once, I heard the villian

his voice inflamed in pain

then, it hit me

he's just afraid to show his scars off to the world

because of what they'll say

so, instead,

he hides behind his facades,

watches his victims drop down

reeling, remembering, reliving

his constant battles

with himself.
