hawthorne
Sometimes, I'm afraid to look into those hawthorne eyes. Because they see everything. And, I'm afraid of you realising that I'm actually crumbling inside. You tell me it's all gonna be alright. But, honestly, the day you fell from heaven, was the day I left hell. You were my serendipity, and as I cradled you from the world, deep down, I was afraid you knowing the truth. Our heartbeats are interconnected- intertwined like ivy. Without you, the storm'll get me and I lose myself in the torrents of thunder.
I can't find my way in the dark anymore. I've gotten used to the light.
